Since Texas launched Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to:

● Apprehensions of 361 million deadly doses of fentanyl.

● Over 348,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions

● 24,000+ criminal arrests

● 22,000+ felony charges reported.

● The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has seized over 361 million lethal doses of fentanyl during this border mission.

Texas has bused:

● 9,200+ migrants to Washington DC since April, 2022.

● 5,250+ migrants to New York City since August 5.

● 1,600+ migrants to Chicago since August 31.

●900+ migrants to Philadelphia since November 15.

CHINESE INVOLVEMENT

●Border Patrol apprehensions of Chinese nationals crossing the border illegally are currently up more than 800% when compared to the same time last year.

● Just last week, the Rio Grande Valley sector had up to 20 Chinese nationals in custody, but thanks to Biden policies, some were released via Notice to Appear and Own Recognizance actions.

● According to CBP data, which does not include January yet, in Oct/Nov/Dec, 2022, there were 1,862 Chinese nationals encountered at the southern border. This compares to 229 during the same time period the previous year.

● In December, there were 931 Chinese nationals encountered, compared to 64 in December 2021.

● On January 30, 2023, DPS raided a Houston facility disguised as a car rental business and discovered pill press machines, more than 17 lbs of possible fentanyl precursors from China, suspected counterfeit Xanax pills laced with fentanyl, and fentanyl-laced Oxycodone. Authorities also found cocaine, ecstasy, methamphetamine pills, a stolen vehicle, three pistols, and a rifle.

●During a specialized brush and human smuggling operation, the DPS Rio Grande Valley Brush Team made 129 apprehensions, identified eight and arrested three human smuggling guides, and apprehended three special interest immigrants from China.
