Lincoln Kennedy Similarities and Coincidences Revisited

My maternal grandmother, Ruby Floyd, first showed me a list of coincidences between U.S. presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy in early 1964.

I was two weeks away from turning 8-years-old when Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. The day before, my mother had signed me out of third grade class so she could take me to actually see the President and my father (who was escorting him as a motorcycle patrolman for the San Antonio Police Department).

I grew up reading and investigating about the JFK assassination and even visited witnesses, Lee Harvey Oswald’s landlord, and Dallas police officers who were there in 1963.

My fascination could have been spurred by my grandmother and father’s interest too. When she originally read this to me in 1964, there were only 12 coincidences listed.

By 1972, the list had grown. Here is the Lincoln-Kennedy Penny from that year:

  1. I was 5 yrs old when JFK WAS SHOT WAS WATCHING “SUPERMAN” WITH GEORGE REEVES , walter cronkite came on tv said the president had just been shot in DALLAS TEXAS NOVEMBER 22nd , 1963
