Kari Lake Put Fake News in Their Place During ‘Ask Me Anything Tour’

Kari Lake, 2022 candidate for Arizona governor absolutely welcomed a question from reporter MAAP Real Talk Show’s George Nemeh during her “Ask Me Anything” tour in Phoenix on October 17, 2022.

“Over the weekend, your name was ringing everywhere, and most of them were asking, “is she an election denier?” That was going around all different cable news,” Nemeh asked. “Would you elaborate on this?”

“Let’s talk about election deniers. Here’s 150 examples of Democrats denying election results,” Lake responded with confidence. “Oh wow. Look at this. This is from Joe Biden’s press secretary. ‘Reminder Brian Kemp stole the gubernatorial election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams.’ Democrats are saying that. Is that an election denier?”

“Oh, look at this. ‘Just heard Republican Ryan Costello said it would be difficult for Stacey Abrams to win because she lost her state bid’ but yet she’s still claiming she never lost. This is outrageous,” Lake continued.

“Hillary Clinton, ‘Trump is an illegitimate president.’ Is she an election denier? This one says, ‘was the 2016 election legitimate? It now definitely is a question worth asking,” Lake revealed. “That’s the Los Angeles Times. So it’s okay for Democrats to question elections, but it’s not okay for Republicans.”

Looking the media straight to their faces, she called them out, “It’s a crock of BS. Every one of you knows it. We have our freedom of speech, or we’re not going to relinquish it to a bunch of fake news propagandists.”

“If you want a copy of these, I’m sure that Anthony would help you get a copy and help you learn how to be journalists, but look it up,” she blasted. “It’s been happening for a long time. Since 2000, people have questioned the legitimacy of our elections. And all we’re asking is that in the future, we don’t have that have to happen anymore.”

“When I’m Governor, we’re gonna make sure we have honest elections. We want the Democrats, the independents, and the Republicans to all know that their vote counted,” she announced. “We want fair, honest, and transparent elections, and we’re going to deliver that for the people. But just remember, guys, this is one page. Hillary Clinton says, ‘George W. Bush was selected President, not elected.’ So if you’re going to start throwing around terms like election denier, let’s remember who the other election deniers were. Hillary Clinton and all the Democrats. Next question.”

Lake’s Election Integrity Stance

“Arizona’s audit revealed numerous deficiencies and issues with our elections, on a scope and scale sufficient to have changed the outcome of 2020. We must address these problems immediately, or nothing else we do will matter.”

🔹First, require voter ID on all ballots. One person, one vote. There is nothing fairer than that, and – despite what the mainstream media says – voter ID requirements are overwhelmingly popular with every single Party and demographic. 75% of Americans support requiring voter ID, as do 69% of Black Americans, and 82% of other minorities. 60% of Democrats, 77% of Independents, and 89% of Republicans support voter ID. The only people who don’t want to see voter ID implemented are progressive activists and the media.

🔹Second, require pre-printed paper ballots – no printing ballots on-site at polling stations which increases the likelihood of individuals casting multiple ballots.

🔹Third, take all equipment that uses software out of the counting process. As we have seen in recent weeks with the pipeline hack, and the meat-plant hack: if it has software, it can be hacked. Elections are simply too important to take that risk. Using analog optical scanners will be more personnel and time-consuming than using computers – so we pay for the personnel and resources we need.

🔹Fourth, elections should be followed with regular, highly accurate audits of the results to ensure transparency and bolster public trust.

  1. she seems to be a strong candidate and has a good chance of winning. I agree with the voting machines vs plan votes. The Dems did it once and they will try it again. I am discouraged that no Republicans are raging about the vote cheating. So far, I have heard nothing from any of them. Newsmax covers it well and Tucker Carlson does to. Since a large slice of America watches the main stream media, they will never know the truth.

  2. Kari is a fighter who was wrongly terminated at AZ10. She told it like it was and the station was outed as a democracy destroyer. But I’m glad that happened to her. We wouldn’t have a hawk for a Republican candidate in Az. I moved to NM since then, but I would vote for her here from NM if it was legal. She makes biden look like a wet drenched kitty cat. I love this lady!

  3. Katie Hobbs won’t debate with Kari Lake because she knows that Kari Lake will mop the floor with her and possibly ruin her entire political career. I absolutely love Kari and I hope to the goodness that she wins the gubernatorial race in Arizona! Kari is a warrioress! But don’t think the Dem-wits won’t try to cheat. It worked for them before and that’s what they’re thinking. I don’t think it will work this time because people will be on their toes and watching this time around.
