All right! Good job, New Hampshire! I used to live in New Boston, New Hampshire back in 1983-1984. Met some good people back in New Hampshire.
I used to do a lot of hitchhiking (for most of 23 years). One time I was hitchhiking out of Bozeman, Montana probably in 1997 and this guy picked me up. Somehow I recognized him. I asked him if he was raised in Montana. He said, no, he was raised in New Hampshire. I asked him if he had ever been to Manchester. He said, yeah. Then I asked him if had ever been to Goffstown. He said, yeah. Then I asked him if he ever had been to New Boston. He exclaimed, THAT’S MY HOMETOWN! Then I asked, did you ever know Tommy Sullivan? He said, of course, Tommy Sullivan was his best friend. I told him that I met him in New Boston probably back in 1983. It’s a small world.

My guess is that when you talk about “coddlebrained” you are talking about Vermont, Massachusetts and southern Maine. Is Vermont worse than Taxachusetts?

I really mean all of New England. Our libs are unbelievably spoilt because they’ve never had to deal with the consequences of their virtue signalling. That privilege falls to the former Upper and Lower Middle Class. And, unpopularly enough to say, the welfare class. They’re like children with unchallenged (wrong) opinions.
I have good friends in VT. Here’s what I can give you: there’s a large body of morons and hippies that make public spectacles, but there’s also an underlying current of aggravated libertarianism that’s beginning to surface. Public policies are being challenged because the shitlibs have overplayed their hand. And, I’m told, because Burlington is on fire with all of the trash dumped there by Biden Gang after the last big whoops. I don’t think, though, they’re worse off than Massachusetts. What I hear coming out of there boggles the mind. Which is a shame, when you think that our country’s Old Stock got started there. I can tell you all about So. ME which you’ve wisely split off from No. ME. But maybe I’ll save that for later.

I have heard that southern Maine is very liberal: a lot of people moving in from Massachusetts. Are people calling southern Maine “Northern Massachusetts”?
If you watch the film EDGE OF DARKNESS (2010) starring Mel Gibson, three or four times in the film someone says, “everything is illegal in Massachusetts”.
I met this guy in Wyoming in my hitchhiking travels. He was a welder in a shipbuilding outfit in Maine. He said you could go up into northern Maine and buy some cheap land on an old logging tract and live nice and cheap and away from civilization. I have always liked solitude. I think it would be great to live alone in the woods for a number of years.
