A biological female ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a professor of religious studies at Elon University admits to having two abortions.

Minister Rebecca Peters: “I can also attest that I felt God’s presence with me as I made the decision to end two pregnancies and I felt no guilt, no shame, no sin.”
She restated Jesus Christ’s Beatitudes to declare: “Blessed are those who end pregnancies, for they will be known for their loving kindness.”
Is her Christianity one of “inclusiveness” or “progressiveness?”

Is this a direct assault on the words of Christ? Does it challenge the moral foundation of Scripture? Is it against the conscience of the Church?
The Beatitudes are not suggestions for modern moral convenience. They are the radical, God-given blueprint for life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
“Blessed are the meek,” “Blessed are the merciful,” “Blessed are the pure in heart.”
These are declarations of God’s eternal values, not interchangeable slogans for contemporary political agendas. To rewrite them in service of human ideology is not creativity; it is sacrilege.
From a biblical perspective, human life is sacred from conception. Psalm 139 declares, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
The unborn are not property, inconvenience, or political talking points. They are persons, loved and known by God, entrusted to the care of humanity. To bless their intentional destruction is to invert the very gospel Christ came to proclaim.

In the same discussion, Peters also stated that “abortion is a moral good.” She called it “an act of love,” “an act of grace,” and “a blessing.”
Peters shared the remarks while wearing a pink stole featuring the Planned Parenthood logo

Lest we misunderstand or underestimate the level of deception and evil that has infiltrated “the church,” this is a blatant example of how far the enemy has twisted and distorted and misused/abused the Truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Yeshua declared that ‘leaders’ and ‘teachers’ such as this Rebecca Peters would be better off to have a millstone placed around their necks and be drowned in the sea (Matt. 18:6)
Maybe it’s just me, but that smile she is sporting in the photos you posted looks very strained. I’ll warrant she is working hard to present this outward appearance of joy and peace; but she is a ruin on the inside.

Boromax, you have got that right, right on the nose. I was thinking that same thing looking at that smile, and that millstone is something I read about just a few minutes ago. It’s what happens with reprobate minds, and this girl “lies like a rug,” to quote a friend of mine. Yuck.

She probably stifled the trauma of her abortions by rationalizing that it is good not evil to save her sanity. 😦

Which in turn wrecked her sanity, I guess. It’s truly tragic.
