Abdifatah Abdulkadir Yusuf is tied to stealing over $7.2 MILLION from Minnesota’s Medicaid system.
Abdifatah Yusuf, 44, was found guilty of robbing innocent taxpayers through a home healthcare care company called Promise Health in August.
A jury found that he and his wife, Lul Ahmed, ran a deceitful Medicaid fraud scheme out of a mailbox at the so-called medical company.
They used the money for ‘lavish’ shopping sprees. These included trips to name brand and designer stores like Coach, Canada Goose, Nike, Michael Kors. They also purchased high-end cars, according to prosecutors.
The jury hears the evidence and sees the money trail.
They look at the luxury cars and designer lifestyle, and say “yeah, that’s fraud.”
But in a shocking twist of events, and months after Yusuf was found responsible for directing the massive scam, Judge Sarah West decided last week that the jury was all wrong and he should be let off the hook.

We can’t be totally sure he meant to steal it. We would need to climb inside his head and read his thoughts.
Because apparently millions of taxpayer dollars just accidentally landed in his account? Lamborghinis just materialize. Rolexes just spawn out of thin air.
Fraud wasn’t denied. The spending wasn’t denied. The jury wasn’t confused.
But justice stalled because the court wanted psychic powers instead of common sense. And people wonder why taxpayers are furious and why this stuff keeps happening.

It confuses me that judges can set aside verdicts declared by duly appointed juries. And… how old is Sarah West? Good grief! She looks like she is fifteen years old!
