Washington, DC Crime
President Donald Trump ordered District of Columbia National Guard to oversee crime and policing in the United States capital district.
The DC Police Union endorses the federal takeover and indicates they acknowledge “and supports the President’s announcement” to assume temporary control of the Metro Police Department “in response to the escalating crime crisis in Washington, DC.”
Union Chairman Gregg Pemberton said, “We stand with the President in recognizing that Washington, DC, cannot continue on this trajectory. Crime is out of control, and our officers are stretched to their limits.”
If DC were a state, it would be the murder capital of America. The national homicide rate is 5-7 per 100,000 people while DC is 27-40 (2023 to 2024).
DC spends more money per resident than any city in America on “violence prevention” programs, and bloated social services.
Crooked Nancy
Nancy Pelosi was responsible for Capitol security on January 6, 2021.
She faced push back when she tried to blame Trump for the protest security lapse. The Capitol police chief Steven Sund called her out:
On just the first night of Guardsmen moving into action 23 arrests were made including homicide, gun crimes, drug dealing, lewd acts, fare evasion, stalking, high-cap mags, fleeing, unlicensed driving and Driving Under the Influence violations.
When current DC Police Chief Pamela Smith was asked by a reporter, “Do you know what the chain of command is now?”
Her actual reply was, “What does that mean?”
FBI Results
Meanwhile, FBI Director Kash Patel and team are delivering historical results. As of Tuesday night (August 12):
• 4,182 child victims have been rescued (+33%).
• 1,580 kilos of fentanyl was seized (+26%), enough to kill 115 million Americans.
• 19,200 arrests, including over 1,600 for violent crimes against children.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has confirmed former president Bill Clinton is top focus on the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
American Economy
As of Tuesday, August 12, 2025,
• S&P 500 closes above 6,400 for the first time in history.
• Inflation has come under expectations again.
• Energy and grocery costs are down.
Illegal Aliens Leaving
• In less than two weeks, over 100,000 job applicants have been turned in to ICE.
• The US illegal alien population has decreased by 1.6 million since Trump took office. Self deportations are working.
• 22 American states have less than 3 million people. California has 2.7 million illegals that adds 5 congressional seats. This means California’s illegal aliens have as much representation as 22 states.
