Maybe it’s my age…or the fact I turned off the television five years ago. We don’t keep up with the Oscars, Emmys, various Music Award Winners, Miss America, or other pageants and even the Grammys anymore. We have set them all out.

It could also be that we seldom go to a movie theater much…maybe twice a year.
Five years has apparently been long enough to not even know who some celebrities are anymore. But when I do pay attention for a flashing moment, here are some people I get mixed up.

LOL! This is great! Reminds me of how when we are watching shows (movies or series), which is practically every evening these days, my son gets distracted by trying to figure out who is whom; and he never remembers actors’ names. It’s always, “Oh! That’s the guy that was that other guy in that other show; you know, the one with that other guy that was in the other thing.” Then we look up the cast lists for the show we are watching and the other show we think ‘that guy’ was in; and for good measure we look up their IMDB pages. Too funny. ~Ed.

But I think the studios do hire actors who look like other actors. They do that in commercials, too. For a while, they were using a lot of women who looked like Michelle Obama in commercials. And they use unknown actors who resemble famous ones. (Saves money)

Well, you are way ahead of me; I only knew two out of all of them! And the similarities between each pair are so strong, even the male and female lookalikes!

I don’t know most of these clones. Apparently, there’s lots of doppelgangers roaming the earth along with the zombies. đŸ™‚

Clearly, we are out of the Hollywood loop and probably the better for it.

Far better off. I am proud of anyone who is out of the “Hollywood loop.”

Wow, I only know maybe 3 tops. Scary looking on all levels. I quit going to the movies I think maybe 25 years ago. Looks like I didn’t miss anything by the looks of it. I don’t watch any of what I call the “The Golden Calf Awards”

We may see one or two movies a year. Totally understand. We haven’t watched TV in 5 years. Only exception is when we travel & at a hotel. Andy Griffith or Weather Channel. We are far better off.
