Under the Biden-Harris administration, $700 million in federal funds was given to Planned Parenthood during just a one-year span as the organization performed a record number of abortions.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) was well funded after Biden took over the White House in 2021 at the height of the COVID pandemic. While businesses were forced to close all across the country, taxpayers were forced to fund a corrupt $2 billion abortion chain that stole $80 million in COVID relief funds that were meant for small businesses.

Each year, Planned Parenthood releases their annual report on a day (usually a Friday evening) and time to escape media scrutiny (which isn’t hard because of how mainstream media shills for Planned Parenthood).

Recall that during Biden’s first year, people lost businesses they spent their lives building. Planned Parenthood, however, was open and cashing in on COVID. In a pandemic where they provided 200,000 less breast cancer exams and Pap tests (combined) than the previous year, PPFA somehow managed to have plenty of time to abort more human beings than ever in their history: 383,460. The abortion giant  prevented 28,589 more babies from being born than the year before.

Their profits skyrocketed, too, from $69.7 million to $133.7 million. 

This all coincided with a decline in all other major services, according to Planned Parenthood’s 2022-2023 report published last year.

Parenthood’s former president, Cecile Richards, proudly told The New York Times: “We aim to be the largest kick-butt political organization.” 

Richards’ daughter, Lily Adams, served as press secretary for Tim Kaine (Hillary Clinton’s running mate for vice president in 2016) and an advisor of communications for Clinton’s Democratic presidential campaign, and as communications director for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign

(Note that Richards died at her home in Manhattan, New York, on Trump’s Inauguration Day, January 20, 2025) at age 67. She was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, in mid-2023.)

● Planned Parenthood received approximately $75 billion in federal funding from 2019 to 2021, including $22 billion in Health and Human Services grants and $53 billion from public health programs, according to a report from the Government Accountability Office.

● Planned Parenthood Federation of America affiliates accounted for $148 million in HHS grants and $1.5 billion in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP payments, with regional organizations receiving an additional $108 million.

● Taxpayer dollars made up 34% of Planned Parenthood’s funding, according to the 2022-2023 annual report by the Charlotte Lozier Institute.

President Donald J. Trump enacted measures during his first days of office in  January 2025 to restrict abortion funding.

● He reinstated the Mexico City Policy, which prohibits federal funding to international non-governmental organizations that perform or promote abortions.

● He also signed an executive order enforcing the 1980 Hyde Amendment to prevent federal funds from being used for elective abortions, reversing previous policies under the Biden administration that had expanded access to abortion services.

● The Biden-Harris administration subsequently ramped up its support for Planned Parenthood’s abortion access following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022.
