Nancy Mace Addresses Congress:  Scorches 4 SC Men & Attorney General on Her Rape & Other Crimes Against Women

South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace took to the U.S. House floor Monday night and accused state Attorney General Alan Wilson of not prosecuting specific rape, voyeurism and other heinous crimes against women.

“This isn’t a story about bitter ex-girlfriends or consensual sex tapes,” Mace said. “There are plenty of those. I don’t care what two consenting adults agree to do.”

In the nearly 4,800-word speech, Mace says she has evidence that four men, who she called business partners, committed crimes. One of the four is a person she used to be close to.

Accustomed to negative slants from progressive mainstream media, by addressing this news on the House floor, Mace is protected by the speech and debate clause of the U.S. Constitution, giving her protection against any potential slander claims.

The First District Congresswoman alleged four men from Sullivan’s Island, the Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant and Charleston, conspired to commit rape and to take nonconsensual exploitative photos and videos of women and underage girls.

Charleston-area businessman Patrick Bryant, who Associated Press (AP) reported as being an ex-fiance of Mace, said he “categorically deny these allegations. I take this matter seriously and will cooperate fully with any necessary legal processes to clear my name.”

When she confronted one of the men on evidence she found of the alleged crimes, he assaulted her.

“I am going to place my hand on this Bible. I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God.”

“This is a story about predators who hunt women for sport.”

“I’m living proof – even as a member of Congress – I found myself face-to-face with the darkest corners of humanity.”

Her evidence included more than 10,000 videos she discovered after being given access to a mobile phone, she said.

“None of this is conjecture. This is not an allegation. These are the facts. In black and white. Without exaggeration or without any flourishes. This is what I found, this is what I saw and this is what I accidentally uncovered,” Mace said in prepared remarks released before her speech.

Mace said in November 2023 she found nonconsensual photos and videos of women and underage girls undressed, and a video of the rape of an unconscious woman. She even found a hidden camera video of herself naked on the phone. During her remarks Mace said she was able to identify almost a dozen victims.

“In November 2023, I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes imaginable—rape, nonconsensual photos and videos of women and underage girls, and the premeditated, calculated, exploitation of innocent women in my district. These predators didn’t just harm their victims; they recorded their depravity as if it were a badge of honor.”

“Today I am going to free myself from the monster who broke me. Today I will free other women who fell prey to the same man. Today I will free other women further from a group of men who committed the most evil acts against them.”

“Truth has a way of rising, no matter how deeply you try to bury it.”

“When I uncovered evidence of sex trafficking, rape and illegal filming and photographing of women, I didn’t just see victims—I saw a system which failed to protect them.”

Mace explained how she was served two vodka sodas at the property owned by two of the men identified in her speech. She soon blacked out, indicating she had never experienced prior to that evening after having a vodka soda.

“Did anyone film me when I was incapacitated and being raped?” Mace asked as she held back tears. “Will I ever…?”

Mace revealed how after turning over evidence to law enforcement, no charges have been filed, even from AG Wilson.

“Did South Carolina’s attorney general have any of these predators indicted after being provided clear cut and dry evidence including video, photos and witnesses? No he has not,” Mace revealed in her speech.

Mace claimed there were deliberate delays in the investigation with state law enforcement officials not acting on the evidence she provided.

“When the attorney of a victim asked to speak to Attorney General Alan Wilson directly, he told the attorney not to send him any information or documents,” Mace said. “Did the state accept the additional, potential physical and other evidence from me when I stumbled across potentially additional information later last year? No they did not.”

Mace said she was told by law enforcement she could be investigated even though she was the one turning over the evidence, and that she could be arrested if she kept moving forward.

“Women who come forward in your system are treated like criminals under your leadership,in your system, and on your watch,” Mace directed at Wilson, who actually has attorneys who prosecute rape cases and human trafficking cases.

“If anyone would like to arrest me for standing up for women – here are my wrists. Take me to jail.”

Sitting behind Mace in the House gallery were several women identified as being victimized by Bryant and the other men.  Lawmakers who sat behind Mace during her speech to show their support were Reps. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo, and Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla.

Last week, while speaking to the Lexington County Republican Party, Wilson defended his prosecutors in response to Mace’s previous comments that he doesn’t prosecute sex offenders or rapists.

“I saw sexual predators who thought they could get away with it because no one had the guts to call them out or hold them accountable.”

“Let the bridges I burn light our way forward.”

“I will burn this system to the ground if I have to.”
