Rumor has it that owner Jeff Bezos is considering a name change for his half-mast flagship newspaper to The Washington Compost.

Losing about 20 million readers daily, their traffic has plummeted to more than 80 percent from its peak just after the Biden-Harris administration were allowed in the White House.
They have dropped from 22.5 million to less than 3 million viewers daily.
I give WaPost the distinction of being Exhibit D (behind MSNBC: Exhibit A, CNN: B, and New York Times: C) in proving extreme left-wing bias in today’s fake news media.
In 2024, the Post’s daily traffic dived to less than a quarter of what it was at its peak in January 2021 (remember Jan. 6 Capitol protests and the inaguration). But by the middle of 2024, its daily tallies hovered around 2.5-3 million users.

The Washington Post built its brand on the fake “Resistance” narrative and found itself a darling of the New World Order, World Economic Forum, and Deep State by:
● championing the Russia collusion hoax,
● pushing COVID fear-mongering,
● acting against President Donald Trump and his supporters,
● justifying the case for the Barack Obama-Alejandro Mayorkas-Soros Foundation immigration policies,
● anti-Southern border Wall.

Their deception peaked by March 2021, when they were caught lying about a December 2020 conversation Trump had with Georgia’s lead elections investigator, Frances Watson, about the Nov. 2020 presidential election. Their original story said Trump told her to “find the fraud” and that she could become a “national hero.”
When asked, the Georgia secretary of state’s office said that no recording existed, a claim that Watson did not refute.
However, in response to a public records request, a recording was discovered in the trash file of Watson’s computer. It remains unknown if Watson was reprimanded or has faced any consequences for having attempted to delete this critical public record, a potential offense under Georgia law.
The recordings of the call were released. It clearly revealed that Trump was “misquoted” according to the Post’s own written apology. Trump only asked Watson to scrutinize the ballots, adding she would find “dishonesty” and that she had the “most important job in the country.” He did not tell her to “find the fraud” or that she would be a “national hero.”

The Post admitted the quote was not from Watson, but it was said by “Jordan Fuchs, the deputy secretary of state.”
Today the Washington Post’s ludicrous slogan is pathetically laughable: “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

The Post has been nothing more than a virtue signal while it actively worked to silence dissent and prop up the Biden-Harris-Obama regime. Now, it’s crashing, and deservedly so.
Their failing rate is so disgustingly unacceptable that the Post had actually ceased publicly disclosing its traffic numbers in press releases, after a 60% decline in monthly traffic, causing the Post’s revenue to fall from $190 million in 2023 to $174 million in 2024.

I love the line “his half-mast flagship,” a good journalistic dig. Going down, and rightly so.

There should be legal ramifications for the indoctrination and mass hysteria caused by the biased news media across the United States.
