Getting Away From News With Soothing Photography

“Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven,
Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.”

“The stars are forth, the moon above the tops
Of the snow-shining mountains.—Beautiful!
I linger yet with Nature, for the night
Hath been to me a more familiar face
Than that of man; and in her starry shade
Of dim and solitary loveliness,
I learn’d the language of another world.”

  1. Those are such wonderful night sky photos, in particular, that it makes me want to go outside and sleep. However, the mosquitos would eat me alive, on this humid summer evening after a fantastic thunderstorm. The quotes are so good. That is, indeed, a nice break. God made all that for us to remember what’s more real than reality. The stars in Tibet are my favorite. Wow.

I’ve got what is basically your chili recipe going in the crockpot. Try mixing that aroma with the smells of a summer night! There’s another getaway.
