More National Surveys Show Trouble Ahead for Democratic Leftists

Scott Rasmussen national surveys reveals some interesting and newsworthy topics at the intersection of culture, politics, and technology. Here are some of their recent results.

66% Favor Deporting Illegal Aliens

Sixty-six percent (66%) of voters either strongly favor (41%) or somewhat favor (25%) a proposal to arrest and deport anyone who entered the United States illegally during the past three years. The Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 25% of voters either strongly oppose (14%) or somewhat oppose (11%) this proposal.

81% Want Voting Machines Made in America

Eighty-one percent (81%) of voters want all voting machines to have been made in the United States. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 8% are opposed and 11% are not sure.

88% Say Remove Dead From Voter Lists

The survey also found that 88% of voters want states to be required to remove people who have died or moved from voter registration lists. In addition, 85% want all voters to show photo identification before casting a ballot, and 82% want ballots to be received by Election Day in order to be counted

77% Say Feds Do Not Pay Attention to Voters’ Wants

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of voters say the federal government does not pay enough attention to what voters want when establishing policies and regulations. A Scott Rasmussen national survey conducted by RMG Research found that 9% of voters believe the government pays too much attention to what voters want, and 8% believe the government pays about the right amount of attention to voters.

The survey also found that 62% of voters believe it would be worse for America if only people with college degrees could vote, while 15% of voters believe it would be better.

83% Say Make it Harder to Cheat, Easier to Vote

Eighty-three percent (83%) of voters believe making it easier to vote and harder to cheat should be the goal of election reform. However, a Scott Rasmussen national survey found voters divided on which part of that goal needs to be addressed first.

● Most Republicans (70%) and independents (52%) believe the focus of electoral reform should be making it harder to cheat.

● A majority of Democrats (57%) believe making it easier to vote is more important.

● Voters are almost evenly divided as to which party they trust most to handle electoral reform. Thirty percent (33%) trust Republicans, 30% Democrats, and 17% don’t trust either party.

Only 28% Say Media Political Reporting is Accurate

Fifty-five percent (55%) of voters believe that political reporters are generally more interested in helping the candidate they want to win than they are about reporting the news accurately. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that just 28% believe political reporters are more interested in accurate reporting.

74%: HS Secretary Mayorkas Has Failed

By February 28, 2024  seventy-four percent (74%) of voters believe that Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas has either failed (or are not sure) in his duty to secure the border. A Scott Rasmussen national survey conducted by RMG Research found that 26% do not believe he has failed in that duty.

The survey also found that voters are evenly divided as to whether his impeachment is a legitimate way of dealing with crimes he has committed (38%) or a politically motivated attack (38%).

  1. Looks to me like the lower percentage, those who are against or aren’t sure, would be the same group that listen only to MSM. I say this after a week of seeing my family watch this stuff, this twisted propaganda from hell. There are some signs of beginning to wake up, some independent thought arising. They know something is not right. Glimmers of hope.

Am back home after a week of Carolina Spring and flowers, this morning finding two feet of snow in the yard and my chimney flue knocked askew on the roof by the weight of it from the stovepipe. My pastor came over and saved the day, plowed the drive and fixed the stove pipes. Reality. Ann Coulter said that in order for a Leftist Democrat to wake up, they first have to grow up, deal with real life, not be coddled or expect to be cushioned from it.

Home, simplicity, a hot fire in the woodstove and good homemade chicken soup. No MSM racket. Reality. And a very happy cat next to me.
