Senate Voting on Million$ for Philly LGBTQ Center

BREAKING: Earmark cancelled.

Pennsylvanna Senators Casey, Fetterman & Representative Boyle Support

VIDEO: Executive Director & His Trans Wife Arrested

The Senate Appropriations Committee released a spending bill which is being voted on Wednesday.

It includes $1 million of tax dollars to go towards renovating an LGBTQ Center in PA which boasts rooms to try BDSM and sex fetishes and hosts BDSM and sex kink parties. There’s even a kink party happening there this weekend!

Here is a video of the Center’s executive director being arrested last Saturday:

He is Darius McLean, executive director of Philadelphia’s William Way Community Center. The person screaming “That is my husband” is his transgender wife, Celena Morrison, head of City Hall’s Office of LGBT Affairs.

Celena Morrison

Below, there will be more about this arrest, but the bigger picture is that throughout 2023 and 2024,  Senator Bob Casey (PA-Democrat) repeatedly voiced support for additional funding for the William Way LGBT Community Center.

In early 2023, the senator requested a $1 million earmark in the FY 2024 appropriations bill for the organization.

The nonprofit, according to its website, has embarked “on a daring and visionary project to transform and rebuild our existing community center into a more expansive, inclusive, colorful, and unabashedly queer space for all LGBTQIA+ individuals to gather, celebrate, learn, and find life-giving support.”

William Way Ctr.

In June 2023, according to Pennsylvania Gay News – a local outlet covering LGBTQ issues in the city – William Way was allocated $2 million in Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney’s city FY 2024 operating budget. Those funds, the outlet noted, will “go toward expanding and improving spaces for the center’s 1315 Spruce Street headquarters.”

“In addition to the $2 million allocation, several politicians in Pennsylvania also voiced their support for additional funding,” the outlet reported. “Congressman Brendan Boyle, Sen. Bob Casey and Sen. John Fetterman all recommended the center for Federal Community Project Funding from the Appropriations Committee.”

Casey’s funding request originated in April 2023, two months after William Way hosted “Regeneration: A Global Eco Drag Show.”

The event, according to the Philly Gay Calendar, highlighted “drag performers, who share cultural, environmental, queer and decolonial visions of a future,” and “the way colonialism affected both land and people.”

The event was touted as an opportunity “to discuss issues of colonialism, the climate crisis and a regenerative future with local drag performers of first-generation and immigrant experience.”

In 2016, William Way also hosted a youth drag show featuring performances from children.

In addition to the drag shows it has supported in the past, William Way has also supported the Young Communist League of Philadelphia, a group that has pushed for socialism in the United States.

The Young Communist League of Philadelphia, according to its website, is “dedicated to the revolutionary cause of the working class of our country and the transformation of the United States through mass democratic struggle into a socialist society.”

The Philadelphia Young Communist League has touted its “deep friendship” with China in the past, writing in a July 2021 tweet: “The Communist Party USA is the officially recognized communist party by the socialist world. We have a deep friendship with Vietnam and China in particular. So join the party to show your solidarity!”

Sen. Casey has been the subject of controversy regarding his family’s lobbying and campaign fundraising efforts.

● Pennsylvania lobbying records show Casey’s brother-in-law, Patrick Brier, is the lobbyist for nonprofit Maternal & Family Health Services (MFHS). This is “another example of Casey’s family relationships intersecting with his regular business as a senator,” one Philadelphia news organization, Broad+Liberty wrote in Oct. 2023.

Casey

New York Post reported in August that “Sen. Bob Casey’s political campaign has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from his brother’s personal injury law firm over the past 15 years — and the lawmaker has tapped one of its partners to help him nominate federal judges.”

Casey’s other brother, Matt, works for that personal injury law firm.

Politico reported that Casey’s brother, Patrick, had just recently filed to lobby at the federal level “on issues ranging from implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act to online travel policies last year, disclosures show.”

Congressman Brendan Boyle, who joined Casey and Fetterman, most recently received over $513,000 in contributions from Labor, Finance (Insurance & Real Estate), Health and other Political Action Committees (PACs) as of Febuary 2024 filings.

As for Fetterman, I don’t even want to write about him tonight. But for those who are interested HERE IS WHAT TUCKER REVEALED about the many failures of Pennsylvannia’s other senator.

Now, back to the William Way’s executive director laying on the Vine Street Expressway in the video above.

The trooper pulled Morrison over while (s)he was driving an Infiniti. According to state police, the car’s registration was expired, its headlights weren’t on in the rain, the car’s windows were illegally tinted, and the car had been tailgating another vehicle.

McClean

McClean pulled up behind the police car and the Infinity in a Dodge sedan.

State police indicate McClean became “verbally abusive” to the officer, resisted the policeman’s directions, and subsequent arrest.

The trooper arrested McLean and Morrison and they were released both on Saturday night, several hours after Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker tweeted that the video was “very concerning.”

Parker

Recall that it was candidate Parker, who in 2023 said,”Trans Black women [and] members of the LGBT community will be a significant part of my administration.”

In the meantime, Mayor Parker’s bureaucrats already have OVER SPENT $15 million in their Offices of Homeless Services this fiscal year.

  1. To begin with, why is the U.S. government funding a city recreational facility, let alone a private one? After reading about the blatant and desperate perversion, I am ready to lose my supper, but have instead decided to pray for a wave of Holy Spirit in Philly that transforms that building into a church of wild alive Jesus lovers. Nothing else will do!

  2. Discipline, commonly thought of as Punishment, is also the ability to control oneself or items one is using.

I was pulled over years ago, officer says he pulled me over for Careless Driving. I didn’t respond, just gave him my License, Owner’s Card, Insurance Card. He said “Maybe you didn’t hear me, I pulled you over for Careless Driving”. I told him I heard him.

There was no sense in arguing, I already figured I’d go to court. The only cars on the road was my car and the police car. Leaving a gas station, I used the Left Turn Lane (for both directions) to come up to speed, there was a hill that traffic could unexpectedly appear from. I was cited for driving in the left turn lane.

Yelling at the officer, name dropping, isn’t likely to help. By all means, video the arrest, but don’t threaten the officer.

The perversion that’s been normalized is reprehensible. It was never about equal pay, equal access to homes and apartments, the perversion from the left knows no bounds. They are indirectly, and at times, directly, corrupting the morals of minors and young adults.
