CVS, Walgreens to begin selling abortion pills
As pharmacy giants CVS and Walgreens have confirmed they will soon be dispensing mifepristone, an abortion pill, 32% of independent pharmacy owners plan to close their businesses by the end of 2024, according to a survey by the National Community Pharmacists Association on Feb. 27.

Independent, local pharmacies are struggling with crime, dwindling reimbursements and struggles with pharmacy benefit managers.
A pharmacy closed nearly every day in 2023, according to the NCPA, which is asking CMS for help.
A survey of 815 independent pharmacy owners revealed 99% that prescription reimbursements from the government, Medicare and Big Pharma have fallen. Because of the lower reimbursements, 93% of respondents said they would consider dropping out of Medicare Part D in 2025 if this trend continues.

Mifepristone, approved by the FDA in 2000, can terminate a pregnancy in the first 10 weeks of gestation. This news counters the growing anti-abortion movements and sentiments across the nation.
CVS is not yet offering the medication, but a spokesperson said the chain’s pharmacies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island will begin filling mifepristone prescriptions “in the weeks ahead and will expand to additional states, where allowed by law, on a rolling basis.”
Walgreens plans to dispense the drug within a week in Democrat controlled states California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania.
Fifteen states require a physician to write a prescription for mifepristone, and 14 states have abortion bans that outlaw medication.

What is truly terrible is, that women want these pills; there is a market for them, and that is the root of the problem. Repentance must come to end this.

I don’t get it. Why is everyone so careless with dead end relationships?
