Is Texas Closer to Secession?

America Remembers The Alamo

In one week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has done more to stop the illegal invasion on America’s southern border than the entire Biden Regime their entire time in Washington DC.

Most polls indicate there is  a strong and growing consensus among Texans that the United States is headed in the wrong direction.

Just last fall, a study by the University of Texas and the Texas Politics Project, revealed a whopping 71% of respondents believe the country is on the wrong track. This opinion has been cited by a SurveyUSA poll, which found that 66% of likely Texas voters are prepared for Texas to withdraw from the United States.

“We’re ready to reclaim our right of self-government and become a self-governing nation among nations,” said Daniel Miller of the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM). “Texans want to govern themselves in a very certain way. The federal government implements a one-size-fits-none policy, and in doing so, they ignore the wishes of the people, not just in Texas, but in other states as well.”

“The border issue has become at the forefront of the news cycle, and Texit has become the natural logical extension of what’s happening down on the border,” he emphasized.

“We’re in the throes of getting what we’ve always talked about, which is a binding vote — a vote on Texas becoming a self-governing, independent nation,” Miller continued.

Miller praises Governor Greg Abbott for declaring that the Lone Star State’s right to self-defense “supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary,” and his refusal to remove a razor-wire barrier, despite the US Supreme Court ruling that it was unconstitutional.

“Every time Texas tries to do something to secure the border, the federal government comes in and interferes; or they’ve previously rendered the Texas efforts so neutered as to basically have Texans — the Texas Military Department and the Department of Public Safety — operating as auxiliaries for the Border Patrol, who are under orders to let them [migrants] across, process them, put them on buses and planes and ship them everywhere,” he added.

President Trump supports Abbott and Texas

It appears other states agree with this line of thought. Last week, New Hampshire House Representative Jason Gerhard extended an invitation of alliance to Texas should New Hampshire secede from the Union.

“Freedom is not an abstract notion; it is a way of life, and the federal government continues to overlook the freedoms of both Texas and New Hampshire,” stated New Hampshire Rep. Jason Gerhard. “We believe that the shared principles, desires, and plights of Texans and Granite Staters highlight the importance of maintaining a relationship with one another.”

“As New Hampshire makes its efforts to secure independence, it promises to strengthen the voices of both regions,” he continued. “Together, both states can uphold the principle of freedom and autonomy.”

“Truth be told, Texas and New Hampshire are living under the same collapsing roof provided by the federal government, and it’s time both states assert their rights and build a government that adheres to the needs of the people.”

New Hampshire’s State Representatives are scheduled to meet on a bill  CACR 20 which proposes an amendment following Article 7 of the New Hampshire Constitution, declaring that the state will peacefully declare independence from the United States should the national debt reach a staggering $40 trillion.

HB1130, a bill sponsored by State Representative Matthew Santonastaso, would force the creation of an Independence Study Committee in New Hampshire.

Members from both the House and Senate and experts in economics, law, and governance, the committee will study the economic, legal, and sociological aspects of New Hampshire exerting its sovereign state rights should it contemplate independence. Their research findings will then be brought forward to the state legislature for further deliberation.

Should both bills successfully pass, they would jointly pioneer the conversation on New Hampshire’s independence.

TEXIT Support Grows

“Texas is faced with an immediate crisis – an invasion at our southern border that the federal government is choosing to blatantly ignore…”

“…This crisis directly affects the lives of Texans right here and now, prompting our independence debate even more. So much so that the question at hand is not if Texas will achieve independence, but when,” exclaimed TNM President Miller. “When the time comes, Texans everywhere should be delighted to have a state like New Hampshire on its side.”

South Dakota

“The United States of America is in a time of invasion,” South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem announced on Wednesday. “The invasion is coming over our southern border. The 50 states have a common enemy, and that enemy is the Mexican drug cartels. They are waging war against our nation, and these cartels are perpetuating violence in each of our states, even right here in South Dakota.”

Noem also said South Dakota is willing to send razor wire to Texas. Her administration is “exploring various legal options on how we can support Texas and force (the) federal government to do their job,” as they consider options to provide personnel.

Noem has deployed South Dakota National Guard troops three times to the southern border, including last year, and she has visited several times, including last week.

Remembering the Alamo

So far, support from Governors, Attorneys General, troops, and law enforcement has come from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Alamo Volunteers came from 22 states

Texans have received similar help from other states before. After Texas colonists declared independence from Mexico on Oct. 2, 1835, residents of 22 states and five countries fought and died at the Alamo. The most famous among them were from Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina: former U.S. Rep. Davey Crockett, James Bowie, and Colonel William Travis.

“I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism and everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch,” Travis wrote. “If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible and die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor and that is his country – victory or death.”

William B. Travis

Travis’ last words have been embedded in the hearts and minds of Texans for well over a century and symbolizes the strength of Texas independence and the fighting spirit of Texans.

“Remember the Alamo” was the rallying cry of Texans, aided by men from other states and countries, to defeat the Mexican Army and win independence on April 21, 1836, at the Battle of San Jacinto.

Those who fought alongside Travis and died at the Alamo were from England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and Denmark, and from the states of Alabama (1), Arkansas (2), Connecticut (1), Georgia (4), Illinois (1), Kentucky, (14), Louisiana (4), Maryland (1), Massachusetts (4), Mississippi (2), Missouri (6), New Hampshire (1), New Jersey (1), New York (6), North Carolina (7), Ohio (4), Pennsylvania (15), Rhode Island (1), South Carolina (8), Tennessee (31), Virginia (15) and Vermont (1).

South Texas Rancher Tells it Like it is

“I believe (Abbott) has all the authority he needs to secure the state and, more importantly, the safety and security of his citizens,” said Kinney County attorney and Texas rancher Brent Smith.

Ohio sends troops to Texas

“Every day there’s enough people that die from fentanyl, that a 747 goes down every day. Could you imagine in America (if) a 747 airplane crashed every single day?”

“There’d be hearings, there’d be congressional oversight, you know, all kinds of things,” he continued. “But today, no one’s blinking an eye, or we’re going to wait until 200,000 die or 300,000 before we do something?”

“So what does this come to? Are we in the death pact, where we don’t have a choice but to be invaded and lose our state? Surely not. That’s not what the founders would have ever wanted, or ever agreed to, nor would the states,” he added.

  1. I do not want to leave the United States of America. I want to topple, root out this globalist Deep State regime posing as our government, and reconstruct back to what the Constitution framed it to be. However, I can see where removing the States by a declaration of secession from it’s jurisdiction could be useful at this time. They’ve broken every single law of righteous living there is, without respect to God or lives. But America has a mandate and a calling from God, as a nation, to be His instrument in building His kingdom. So I would see any separation of states from this regime as a tool; i.e. not permanent. But I sure am proud of New Hampshire for finally standing up! And of South Dakota, too.

    • Building up as more join along the route. About 320 more vehicles joined in as they passed through on I90 in San Antonio late in the evening & they will pick up more along the way to Eagle Pass. 380+ vehicles are on IH-10 going towards El Paso tonight. Those are the only two routes I’m able to keep track of from my sources on the ground. I do know, in Texas, there is another Convoy from Dallas Ft Worth, Oklahoma & West TX adding new Patriots along that route by I have no counts. Also I have no recent knowledge of California, Arizona or New Mexico routes.
