Why Did House GOP Propose Biden Woke Military Leaders’ 2024 Salaries Be Cut to Just $1 or Less?

House Republicans, concerned about the dangerous military mistakes such as the chaotic pulling of troops out of Afghanistan and giving up $85 billion worth of weapons and assets to the enemy, this week, approved a measure to slash Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s salary from more than $221,000 annually to less than $1.

‘America Hates you!!!’ the mother wrote to Biden

In August 2021, Shana Chappell, of Norco, California, mother of slain Marine Kareem Nikoui publicly slammed current White House resident, Joe Biden, in a scorching Facebook post that continues to resonate in the hearts and minds of millions.

Her son was one of 13 bodies draped in American flags that arrived in Dover, Delaware, after they were killed in the most alarming mistake in military history: the unexplainable pullout of troops in Afghanistan.

Furious that Biden rolled his eyes at her and repeatedly looked at his watch when the bodies of those killed arrived that Sunday, Chappell went to the public.

‘I know my face is etched in your brain…”
Message to America

Back at home, more bad news was barely reported by Big Corporate Mainstream Media: Prior to the Afghanistan pullout, in Quarter 2 of 2021, 60 active-duty U.S. Army personnel members lost their lives to suicide compared to 41 the previous year. This was a 46 percent increase even before Joe Biden’s Afghanistan fiasco–and he hadn’t even been in office a year.

Soon, the number of military deaths due to their botched Afghanistan pullouts totaled 43, all under the Biden-Harris-Milley administration.

Also, under the Biden Administration and Austin’s lack of leadership, the military has experienced enormous recruiting shortfalls and instigated forced COVID-19 vaccine mandates during the pandemic.

Millions of Americans, including active duty and veterans, are ashamed that under the Biden regime, the US military is the laughing stock of our enemies as defense officials sponsor drag shows on military bases and teaching “critical race theory” at service academies.

In May 2022, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), when hearing of a scheduled drag queen story hour event for children of servicemembers at a library on Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, he sent a letter to Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall.

“These inappropriate events are extremely divisive at home for good reason; in all cases, they place young children in close proximity with adults who are intentionally and explicitly sexualized,” Rubio wrote.

“Do you and President Biden believe the proper role of the U.S. Department of Defense is to facilitate extraordinarily divisive events involving the children of U.S. servicemembers?”

Hull

Theresa Hull, the transgender director of the Pentagon’s Equity and Inclusion Office, and the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness, was also targeted with the GOP amendments that would trim his/her annual salary to less than $1.

“Many Americans agree: We do not want the United States’ military led by failure, causing us to be weak,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, R-Ga. and sponsor of this fiscal 2024 defense appropriations bill. “We need to pass this amendment.”

Green’s amendment was approved by a voice vote. Democrats did not press for a roll-call vote which might have prevented the provision from being adopted.

Milley

A proposal to cut Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley’s pay to $1 was also urged by Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., but dismissed by party leaders before Wednesday’s debate.

Democrat party leaders had previously opposed the appropriations plan over Republicans’ inclusion of social policy provisions, such as overturning the Pentagon’s abortion travel leave rules and restricting medical care for transgender troops.

The White House has already threatened to veto the appropriations bill.

One amendment from Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, would bar the Pentagon from implementing Biden’s climate change executive orders, mirroring language he added to the defense policy bill in July.

Trump called Milley ‘just one of those television generals.’

Former President Donald J. Trump responded to the botched military fiasco in September 2021:

“The horrible ‘withdrawal’ was caused, in particular, because the Military was taken out before American citizens and $85 Billion worth of the highest-grade Military equipment anywhere in the world.”

“This withdrawal was developed by a child’s mind, and only the Biden Administration is responsible for it,” Trump wrote. “When I left office, the Taliban was held at bay, we had as long as we wanted, there was no reason to rush, no soldiers were killed or even shot at for over 18 months, and if they didn’t meet certain conditions, we would have hit them very hard.”

“But then Biden and Milley removed the Military in one of the dumbest Military moves in history, and it all began,” he concluded. “So sad for our Nation!”

  1. I have no words for his behavior on that tarmac. Although, clear signs of dementia are inappropriate actions and speaking, like yelling into the mic, shaking his fist, pointing his boney finger and squinted eyes. What does it take for congress or the senate to act on this POS in the white building, also know as the most expensive nursing home in the country? The US will take decades to recover from his actions and bills, if ever. Thanks for the sad reminder, and those poor mothers, may God hold them close.
