By the summer of 2021, it was quite obvious that mistrust from American citizens was high as Anthony Fauci and various federal health organizations were full of serious missteps throughout the past year, due to everything from political interference, to incomplete information, to confusing messaging.

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023 CIA Director William Burns received a letter revealing that one of his high-ranking officers informed leaders of the House committee investigating them that his agency attempted to offer financial incentives to six COVID analysts.

The aim was to persuade them to alter their stance on the origins of SARS-CoV-2, suggesting that the virus emerged from an animal source rather than from a lab in Wuhan.

“According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China,” the House panel chairman wrote.

“The seventh member of the Team, who also happened to be the most senior, was the lone officer to believe COVID-19 originated through zoonosis.”

“The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position,” they reported.

In June, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (OH-10) and Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) issued the following statement after the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released its ‘Potential Links Between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the Origin of the COVID-19 Pandemic.’

“Over one million Americans and nearly 7 million people worldwide have tragically died from COVID-19. Everyone deserves to know the truth, and the declassification of this report is a promising step toward full transparency.

“HPSCI and SSCP Republicans have been diligently working to get it right. Based on the classified information that we received, we suspected right away that the coronavirus was not a natural phenomenon. We’ve been pushing for years to make this information available for all to see.

“In addition, information gathered by HPSCI and SSCP Republicans this Congress and the last supports the likelihood of a lab leak. The Committees will continue to investigate the origins of COVID-19 and the information obtained today will help to further its investigation.”

“The Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army have some serious explaining to do.“

“This declassified report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Intelligence Community lends credence to the ‘lab leak’ theory, which suggests that the coronavirus outbreak most likely originated from a Wuhan virology lab in China.”

“This is on top of the Government Accountability Office’s report released last week outlining the flow of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Chinese entities known to be doing coronavirus research. While we appreciate the report from ODNI, the corroboration of all available evidence along with further investigation into the origins of COVID-19 must continue.” 

Wenstrup (R-Ohio) has been investigating into a potential violation of federal record retention laws at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) by a close ally of Dr. Anthony Fauci.

In June, the Select Subcommittee requested key emails and phone records related to Senior Scientific Advisor Dr. David Morens’s potential illegal destruction of COVID-19 related materials.

“The Select Subcommittee found it very concerning that a senior U.S. scientist working on the COVID-19 pandemic was using his personal e-mail to purposely avoid transparency,” Rep. Wenstrup wrote. “As such, on June 29, 2023 we requested Dr. Morens produce a series of documents and communications, including text messages, regarding COVID-19…on July 10, 2023 the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requested the National Institute of Health (NIH) investigate the allegations outlined in the Chairman’s letter.”

“On August 9, 2023, NIH responded to NARA’s request by describing its investigative process and certifying that it had ‘completed an investigation of allegations of unauthorized disposition and certifies findings that . . . [it found] no evidence that any federal records within their custody have been prematurely destroyed’ (emphasis added).”

Wenstrup and Turner also requested the production of documents and correspondences exchanged between the CIA and various federal agencies such as the State Department, FBI, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Energy Department.

The CIA Director of Public Affairs Tammy Kupperman Thorp told The NY Post “We take these allegations extremely seriously and are looking into them. We will keep our Congressional oversight committees appropriately informed.”

Recently, the Biden Administration in concert with Big Media outlets have warned that some COVID restrictions, such as masks and vaccine mandates, will be returning soon.

However, most major polls are reporting that the overwhelming majority of the American public would be opposed to the return of such mandates.

The same week the news of the CIA whistleblower broke, current director of the CDC, Mandy Cohen, stated that she would rely on the opinions of certain friends in order to make final policy decisions on COVID restrictions.

Cohen was responsible for banning gatherings of more than 10 people after the pandemic broke out. She also closed not just schools, but day care centers, “nonessential” retail stores, and bars and restaurants. (Naturally, liquor stores were deemed “essential.”)

Who are her certain friends?

She worked closely with current White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients during her time in the Obama administration.

She was rewarded with senior positions at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services during the Obama era, including chief operating officer and chief of staff. She also served as acting director of the agency’s Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight.
