Just How Horrible is Woke Disney Failing?

The Happiest Place on Earth is Now the Wokest Place on Earth

Over the course of the past year, Disney, Pixar, and Marvel films have lost more than $1 billion combined. Disney has been desperate for a hit, and while The Little Mermaid (2023) had solid returns, Disney’s other releases have fallen flat.

The latest is Pixar’s Elemental (2023), experienced the second-worst opening weekend for any Pixar release ever.

Disney has also taken a hit in its television and streaming divisions. Disney’s television properties, ESPN and ABC, are losing money as customers cut the cord and leave cable.

During his last earnings call with investors, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Disney Plus lost more than four million subscribers.

A savvy observer of such concerns is Tom Rogers, the founder of CNBC and former president of NBC Cable. He admits Walt Disney Company has a “a lot of problems” because when Disney Studios begins to slump, it directly and enormously affects other parts of the Company.

For instance, when a hit Disney movie occurs, the popularity spills over and throughout the Disney Parks, stores and other intellectual property opportunities. Toy Story and Star Wars were huge hits for Disney, and today visitors (who are dwindling in numbers) can enjoy rides and experiences at their Hollywood Studios and other Parks around the world.

So when that part of the company slumps, it really begins to look as if it’s not just industry issues that all legacy media companies are facing, but it’s also some very Disney-specific issues. It looks as if they have a creative slump issue in the animation area. Those things are fixable, but they gotta fix it.

-Tom Rogers

Disney already has a problem they don’t want to admit publicly. Essentially the phrase “Go Woke Go Broke” applies to them. Families do not want their children to see, hear, or experience the social engineering and propaganda that Disney has been introducing to the masses. If it appeals to anyone, it’s a limited audience–and definitely not the population Disney catered to and entertained for years.

Disney is using the term “reimagine” within the ranks of their bubble of creative, flamboyant and limiting bubble of talent. That progressive term is a killer as far as the mass audiences go. Note to Disney: Just ask Kohl’s, Target, and Bud Lite and STICK WITH TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUED ENTERTAINMENT.

Their aggressive and overdone introduction of woke new characters has done damage to Disney Parks and Products. It’s hard to sell new toys to kids if no one sees their movies. No one wants to hop on a ride at the Walt Disney World Resort, if they don’t like the characters.

Last month, it was reported that their chief diversity officer, Latondra Newton, was leaving the company after six-years woke controversies that have alienated many of its core customers. The wokeism is so outrageous that Disney World ceased with their longtime greeting, “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” from its Magic Kingdom fireworks show to promote inclusivity.

In January 2022, Minnie Mouse underwent an updated image makeover to make her more masculine. Her signature black polka dotted dress and head bow was replaced with a progressive blue pantsuit.

The Disney designer tried to tone the public outrage down by explaining that she “wanted Minnie to wear her very first pantsuit at Disneyland Paris, so I have designed one of my iconic costumes – a blue tuxedo – using responsibly sourced fabrics…This new take on her signature polka dots makes Minnie Mouse a symbol of progress for a new generation.”

The response was not good and a warning of things to come.

The previous year, reports emerged that Walt Disney World was implementing a new anti-racism training course for its park employees and they were told to complete a “privilege checklist.”

Leaked documents exposed the company’s “diversity and inclusion” program, called Reimagine Tomorrow, explaining that it was set to teach staffers about ‘systematic racism,’ ‘white fragility,’ and ‘microaggressions.’

The propaganda directed Disney employees to “take ownership of educating themselves about structural anti-Black racism” and asked white employees to “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.”

  1. The Episcopal Church in America used the term “reimagine” to promote their Gay Bishop Gene Robinson and began a church split and a slow dive downwards for themselves. If they need an indoctrination class in reality, I think the American people can teach woke Disney a thing or two.

  2. Having retired from Corrections. Years ago an inmate (sex offender) said never take children to Disney Parks or any parks that cater to children and families. It is a haven for pedos scouting for children and tweens. They love to sit by the splash pads and those security camera are not meant for security they are filming all kinds of activity with children around the park. Managements keep those films and then you can imagine what those films are used for their own pleasures. Epstein pedo island comes to mind. Disney executives were named at one point visiting the land of ill repute.
I visited Disney about 5 years ago and promised my daughter a visit when she was younger buy waited until 16 years to go there. Didn’t tell her my suspicions or what I was told. After the vacation of just 2 days of the park. I asked her what her thoughts were. She hated it and felt weird like she was being watched and not for security. I was so uncomfortable being in that park. I would just watch families and kids and I looked at all the security cameras and felt sick to my stomach knowing full well what is going on. I told my daughter what was really happening and what I was told from a pedo what happens at family parks. Well she was bang on and said who in their right mind would pay sickos watching kids and visualizing etc. etc.
