Giant TRUMP Sign Knocked Down by California Authorities, HOLLYWOOD Sign Intact

Liberal Californians feelings were hurt and they felt endangered because huge large white letters spelling “TRUMP” were erected on the site of someone’s private property.

As of this writing, the famous HOLLYWOOD sign and hundreds of billboards remain intact across the state, apparently non-threatening to the masses.

The TRUMP sign, constructed strikingly in the style of the familiar HOLLYWOOD symbol, was strategically located at the Sepulveda Pass hills alongside Los Angeles Highway 405.

So far, no reports have come out indicating any hospitalizations have occurred due to the sign being there. But there are concerns some movie and television stars, including the guys who played Hulk, Meathead and an unimportant female comedian, may need emergency psychological treatment.

But alas, most of the letters, especially the UMP, were laid down. Sightings were reported that the T and P have since been propped up.  Some citizens like it as a reminder to buy toilet paper before the Democrats began their next round of riots for Election Day.

Predictably, officials from the California Department of Transportation at Caltrans were called in to knock the letters down.

Some onlookers noted it was the first time that they recall officials being concerned about traffic on that stretch in many years.

According to officials that TRUMP sign could slow traffic.

The last study of the highway 405 was in 2013. Matthew Turner, an economist who coauthored the research, indicated increasing the number of lanes does not help congestion. Just more drivers come out.

The knocking down of the TRUMP letters “was a life and safety issue because there were concerns about distracted driving,” Chief Public Information Officer for Caltrans Lauren Wonder said, adding someone “was apparently concerned it could spark a blaze” following multiple “destructive brush fires in the past few years.”

Ironically, science has shown most of California’s brush and forest fires are caused and accelerated by arsonists, lack of forest fire management prevention by the state, tossed lit cigarettes, and careless campers. Giant letters are way down the list near climate change.

One can never be too cautious. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) recently announced that a September 5, 2020 fire that burned over 7,000 acres near the El Dorado Ranch Park in Yucaipa was caused by a smoke-generating pyrotechnic device, used during “a gender-reveal party.”
