This guest post is by ‘Dr. Artaud,’ a gentleman who taught “Air Purifying Respirators to 1200+ people per year, for 7+ years. There is not a chance masks stopped covid infections.”
“Respirators (N95) may have helped, but the ‘authorities’ stayed on the Mask Mantra,” wrote the instructor. “I honestly feel they wanted people to get sick and die so that politicians could exploit the crisis in the way that they did. Simple masks may help ‘reduce’ some infectious particles from sick people, but they don’t protect the wearer from sick people. Gateway Pundit quotes Rand Paul saying Masks are largely a sign of submission.”
Though ‘Dr. Artuad,‘ our guest writer of this article is not a medical doctor, he uses his screen name– a character from a 2001 movie–as a pen name.
If Fauci knew masks worked, and told us not to wear them, he’s guilty of criminal negligence (he said he wanted to preserve stock for the frontline healthcare workers, you don’t do that by lying). If he knows they don’t work (simple masks) and told us to wear them, he’s still guilty of criminal negligence.
In the first case, people didn’t wear them but should have, so people needlessly got sick and died. In the 2nd case, people wore them and took chances, and got sick and died because masks don’t work. In both cases, he caused deaths by his lies. In both cases, he’s a disgrace, and I’m sincere, he needs to be removed from his position and prosecuted.
NIOSH (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) researches respirators. They had to know simple masks didn’t work and remained mute. NIOSH is a part of the CDC. America’s regulatory agencies are compromised to the core. (Fauci is with NIAID, but he had access to resources to know that simple masks couldn’t work).
Though I don’t believe this doctor (below) is 100% correct in her assessment, she’s much closer than Fauci by leaps and bounds.
I also have Dr. Judy Mikovits book “The Case Against Masks”, it’s staring at me from the dresser as I write this. An interesting read, it’s not her usual field of study, and it’s not a thick, technical book, but she too had reservations on masks.
For 12 years, I wore a respirator daily at work, somedays all day if work in the field was ongoing. For 12+ more years, I wore them frequently. Yearly physicals, respirator fit tests, and instructions for use, are key to using them effectively and safely. That was missing in the government’s mandates, ergo the reason I feel the government wanted people to get sick and die to achieve their goals.
Positive thinking is one of the most beneficial habits a person can adopt.
The Mayo Clinic explains that it is an effective form of stress management and can improve general health. It can also increase lifespan, lessen depression and stress, and help build better resistance against diseases.
In trying times, you should try to see things in an optimistic manner. Positive thinking isn’t about disregarding struggles; it’s about trying to look at a situation with a less abrasive perspective. This will help you live a happier and more fulfilling life. If you want to learn how to think more positively, there are many resources, like books, which can help you. Here are a few that will surely guide you to see things with a better mindset:
The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck
First on this list is a book by Mark Manson.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is all about learning to accept the circumstances you encounter and taking things in stride. Problems are inevitable but instead of feeling negatively towards them, learn to let go and not take them too seriously.
Iconic singer Freddie Mercury has said “I’ve lived a full life and if I’m dead tomorrow, I don’t give a damn,” which is the mindset Manson wanted to impart in his book. Knowing yourself, your strengths and your weaknesses can help you understand which challenges you can overcome and how. This will help you find constant and genuine happiness. It will also aid you in how to think more positively and productively.
Don’t Overthink It
Thinking and reflecting aren’t necessarily bad things, but when you tend to overdo it, it can lead to more stress and anxiety.
Don’t Overthink It by Anne Bogel aims to teach readers to stop overthinking on a daily basis. Overthinking can oftentimes feel like a pattern that is difficult to break and one that we have no control over.
But Bogel explains that negative thoughts can be changed to positive ones, even when you’re overthinking, using the many actionable strategies she lists in her book. Included inside is a framework that readers can use in discerning both small and big decisions. Simply following it can bring more peace, joy, and love into your life. This will not only guide you to breaking the habit of negative thinking but it will also help you find energy for things that really matter to you.
Happiness Becomes You
Tina Turner is a legendary name in the music industry. In her book Happiness Becomes You, she lays down the knowledge she has amassed throughout her life and career that helped her think positively. She tackles the many hardships she has encountered in hopes of giving people motivation to keep going.
Turner also taps into her Buddhist faith as it has kept her grounded for decades. She talks about how she turned her dreams into a reality and how to make the impossible happen. It details the many adversities that the singer was able to overcome before she found the success she has today. This book radiates nothing but positivity, and those who read it will learn a thing or two about how a good mentality can be a great help to achieving their goals.
One of the major aspects of positive thinking is learning to be less harsh on yourself and others.
Deep Kindness by Houston Kraft highlights the many ways readers can practice imparting goodwill. The book also explains how these principles can help you get ahead in life.
Kraft gives many exercises and prompts to help readers develop their sense of kindness and why it is important in today’s world. Not only will it help create a positive environment, but it will also help build a positive mentality by helping readers live a better and more fulfilling life. Through constant practice, you will find yourself acting more kindly towards yourself and those around you, making your mindset more optimistic overall.
Learning how to lessen negative thoughts can be difficult, but positive thinking is something many people need. Through learning to accept life’s challenges, spending more time on things you love, and being kinder to yourself, positive thinking can become second nature.
Guest Post by Mike Geary – Certified Nutrition Specialist
If you care at all about your body and health, I’m sure you already know to avoid the obvious sugary cereals like the flakes with sugar frosting, the fruity sugar cereals with artificial colors, the frosted wheat biscuits, or the marshmallow cereals that so many parents are poisoning their kids with these days.
However, even most breakfast cereals that aren’t frosted in sugar are marketed heavily as “heart healthy “, “rich in fiber “, and “a good source vitamins & minerals “… Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth!
As a Nutritionist that’s studied the biochemistry of nutrition for over 25 years, and how certain foods affect the cells of your body, there are at least 10 important reasons to be extremely concerned about what cereals are doing inside your body.
Most cereals (even “whole grain” or “high fiber”) cause extreme harm to your hormones and create runaway blood sugar in your body
One of the WORST things about most cereals, even so-called “whole grain” cereals is that they ALL cause a significant spike in your blood sugar (regardless of whether they are wheat, rice, or corn based) to dangerously high levels, which results in a cascade of fat storing hormones to be released in your body, and causes more carb cravings later in the day.
This is NOT the way to start your day if you care about your waistline or how much belly fat that you have.
In fact, even cereals that have added fiber (such as bran flakes or raisin bran) have been found to cause just as much of a massive spike in blood sugar as the low-fiber cereals such as rice or corn based cereals. Remember that the starches in wheat, corn, or a bowl of rice cereal break down quickly in your body into SUGAR and immediately do as much harm to your blood sugar regulation system as if you ate 40-60 grams of pure corn syrup or pure table sugar.
Those massive spikes in your blood sugar essentially damage your cells in your body through a process called glycation, which accelerates the rate of aging in your joints, skin, organs, and even your brain.
And speaking of hormones, another effect of high blood sugar is that it blunts the ability of your body to release growth hormone (aka, the youth hormone), so if you want to look and feel younger, cereals are NOT helping you in that department!
Note: Regarding the claims that cereals are a “good source of vitamins and minerals”, this is actually FALSE… The majority of vitamins and minerals in most cereals are not naturally occurring, but rather, are synthetically added vitamins, which have been proven to be less absorbed than natural vitamins and potentially even harmful in some cases. As an example, synthetic vitamin E is shown in some studies to be harmful to us, while natural vitamin E is beneficial.
Crunching your way to Diabetes and belly fat every morning?
Think about this next time you’re gobbling down that bowl of bran flakes, rice puffs, or wheat biscuits while you’re running out the door in the morning…
The more cereal you eat, the more you constantly stress your pancreas and other organs involved in controlling your blood sugar.
Insulin levels surge every day to try to control your massive blood sugar attacks from all that cereal, and eventually, your insulin sensitivity suffers, leading many people to type 2 Diabetes, and a life of injecting insulin with needles and stabbing your fingers every day for blood tests every day of your life.
Not only that, but causing high insulin levels in your body every morning by eating cereal also triggers your body to STORE body fat. So if you want to be lean, cereal is directly going against your goal, and only making you fatter!
Gut Inflammation and even gut damage?
More bad news about cereal…
Any cereals with wheat ingredients in them can possibly cause gut inflammation and long term gut damage from too much gluten and lectins , even if you’re not officially gluten intolerant or gluten sensitive.
Think those corn-based cereals are better than wheat? Think again! Corn-based cereals are almost always made with GMO corn, which has many scientists very concerned about long term health threats, since there are no long term studies on the effects of GMO corn to your health, as well as your children’s health.
And rice-based cereals (krispies, etc) aren’t much better, as they cause just as high of a blood sugar spike as pure table sugar… Ouch!
Cereal causes CRAVINGS for more carbs later in the day, leading to excess calories
The blood sugar spike and subsequent insulin surge from your morning cereal makes your body to try to get all that sugar out of your blood and into cells (usually fat cells), and that causes a big drop in your blood sugar hours later. This makes you CRAVE more carb-based or sugary foods later in the day.
The result of this is a constant wild roller coaster ride of blood sugar and insulin all day long, leading you to eat more calories in any given day.
I recently read a study about people that ate egg-based breakfasts vs cereal-based breakfasts … Even though the people that ate egg-based breakfasts consumed far more fat in the morning, they ended up eating much less calories throughout each day because they didn’t have the wild blood sugar swings, hormone imbalances, and subsequent cravings. Egg breakfasts are proven to CONTROL your appetite, while cereal breakfasts are proven to INCREASE your appetite for more food, particularly more starchy and sugary carbs.
Cereal makes your body a carb-burner instead of a fat-burner
The more carbs that you eat each day from foods such as cereal and breads, the more you train your body to rely on carbs for energy. So when your blood sugar dips again, you need more carbs again, or you’ll have a major energy slump .
On the other hand, the more that you get most of your calories from healthy fats instead (avocados, coconut oil, grass-fed butter and cream, olive oil, nuts, seeds, eggs, and pasture-raised meats), the more you train your body to be a fat-burning machine .
This is called creating a “fat adapted metabolism ” and you do this by reducing your overall carb intake and simultaneously increasing your healthy fat intake. This doesn’t mean you need to go extremely low in carbs like Atkins, but just a LOT lower than the average carb addict, which is pretty much everyone eating a modern diet.
By relying mostly on healthy fats for energy instead of carbs, this balances your hormones and gives you VERY stable blood sugar levels throughout each day, allowing you to also have VERY stable energy levels throughout each day without the typical spikes and slumps in your energy that most carb addicts feel every single day.
Another benefit of creating a “fat adapted metabolism ” in your body is that you will naturally lose body fat easier!
There is no magic ratios of macronutrients that’s perfect for everyone, nor do I think you need to obsess over exact calories or exact ratios of carbs to fat… However, to give you an idea of how far off most people are… Most people currently eat a diet that is in the range of 60% carbs, 20% fat, and 20% protein. What I’m describing to you in order to create a fat adapted metabolism would be more around eating 20% carbs, 60% fat, and 20% protein.
Basically, as you can see, it’s like flip-flopping the typical western diet ratios of carbs to fat.
Healthier alternatives to cereal that are still QUICK (helping you to be a fat-burner instead of carb-burner)
Instead of the typical cereal in the morning (that’s slowly killing you and making you fatter), try a bowl of plain greek full-fat organic yogurt (which is loaded with healthy gut probiotics, healthy fats, AND protein ) and add in a handful of fresh, organic berries (or frozen wild blueberries), a handful of nuts such as either almonds or pecans (more healthy fats), and a little stevia or vanilla protein for a little added sweetness if you need it.
This breakfast will leave you leaner, keep your blood sugar, energy levels, and hormones balanced for the day, and prevent cravings for more starchy and sugary carbs later in the day.
Another option is simply any combination of eggs, veggies, avocado, and even organic breakfast meat if you want. One of my favorite quick breakfasts is to cook up a couple eggs over easy real quick and slice a half of an avocado on a plate.
I chop the eggs and avocado together with some hot sauce and a couple slices of turkey, and voila… a quick 5-minute breakfast that’s incredibly delicious, yet MUCH healthier than that bowl of cereal, and will help balance your hormones for the day instead of creating hormone imbalances and energy crashes like cereal does.
The doom and gloom brought on by the 2020 Election, China Virus, economic challenges and wayward politics caused us to take a new look at my favorite Bible Verse, Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.” I came upon the writings of Levi J. Secord, from Riverview Baptist Church in West St. Paul, Minnesota. This is our second guest post on CleverJourneys.
Misunderstanding the Bible is nothing new. This confusion is only magnified in today’s world of memes and one-liners on social media.
Single verses are often elevated to popularity because they fit some preconceived agenda we want to advance. So a verse grows in popularity with no thought given to the actual context of the passage.
For those who hold a high view of scripture, this trend is alarming. It shows an utter disrespect for God’s Word fueled by laziness.
We need to approach the Bible on its terms. If the Bible is God’s Word (it is), then it should be handled better by those who want to live by it.
What God actually meant by His words are far more important than how what we want them to mean.
Let’s start with the first part of Psalm 46.10, “Be still, and know that I am God.”
This passage has become a Christian cliché as it appears on everything from bumper stickers to social media feeds.
The Common Misunderstanding
When you read Psalm 46.10 you probably think of being physically quiet before God, of slowing down your frantic pace, and finding time to read your Bible.
This passage commonly brings to mind serene landscapes and the idea of finding rest and peace before God. What do you Christian need to do? Be still and know. They need to rest in who God is. Basically, we need to let go and let God handle our problems.
There is a lot of truth to us needing to quiet ourselves before God and to prioritize spending time in prayer and the reading of His Word. Nonetheless, this is not what the passage means. Not even close.
What Psalm 46.10 Actually Means
Psalm 46 is actually about war. It starts with the great promise that God is the refuge of His people, where they can find protection from the raging of the world (46.1-3). It then shows us the nations raging against God and His people (46.6) before moving to God’s response of bringing destruction on the earth and the nations (46.8-9).
The context of verse 10 is war. The setting is a battlefield.
In this war, God protects His people and brings the nations into submission.
Psalm 46.10 is God entering the battlefield of the raging nations and defeating them by His voice. When God says “Be still, and know that I am God,” this is not directed at God’s people, but at the nations. It is directed at the enemies of God. It is a royal command of the King of Kings and by that command, He brings desolations upon His opponents.
Be still and know is the battle-cry of the LORD directed at His enemies, not an encouragement for believers to find rest in God. It is God entering the war and claiming victory by the power of His voice. The HCSB translation helps us to see this, “Stop your fighting—and know that I am God, exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.”
So Psalm 46.10 is about God defeating the nations and about Him being exalted by all of creation.
Why It Matters
We have a tendency to sand off the sharp edges of God to make him more palatable. Psalm 46.10 reminds us God rules and he conquers. There is coming a day when he will enter the battlefield and he will conquer simply by speaking.
The nations will be stilled, and left speechless. They will know that the LORD is God. In fact, this is fulfilled in Revelation 19.15-21 where Jesus descends and slays the nations of the world by a sword that comes out of His mouth.
He defeats the nations by speaking, just as we are told will happen in Psalm 46.10.
Christians need to remember the Lord rules and He is a conquering King. He is so great that the strongest nations will be defeated by His mere speech. On that day every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This is what Psalm 46.10 is about.
“I’m not saying Covid-19 isn’t real… But Pay attention folks, there’s much more going on here than what meets the eye.
Is it a coincidence that just when the economy is booming, the stock market is setting record highs, we are winning the trade wars, school shootings have stopped, our nation is at peace, the Democratic party is a disaster and so is their likely nominee? (Biden). He hasn’t a chance in hell and they’re not about to let an outsider (Bernie) destroy their scheme.
It looks like Trump is a sure bet for reelection after fending off 3 years of investigations and impeachment, then all of a sudden world crisis pandemic. Stock market tumbles, companies are laying off employees, everything is closed and canceled, CEO’s of giant companies are resigning and indictments are coming.
This is almost the perfect fascist playbook. Control the population with fear-mongering and panic, control the media, spread propaganda and the fan-favorite disarm the population.
Now they say there are a couple ways a President doesn’t win reelection. Those are an unpopular war or a poor economy.
But there is something larger going on here driving this sudden outbreak right after Trump beats an impeachment. Especially the fact that it (Corona Virus) originated in China who we are in a global trade war with; brought on by Trump. Let’s not forget Biden’s back door deals with CHINA as well.
China doesn’t want 4 more years of Trump either. It all seems rather convenient for the nations and opponents of our current President and economy 5 months before an election. Couldn’t have hit at a more perfect time.
With the Democrats running out of campaign talking points, in light of no school shootings, no migrant caravans at the southern border, fighting in Syria winding down, North Korea not firing missiles and Trump beating a sham impeachment.
The Corona Virus gave them one last hail Mary to try and point fingers at Trump with the clock winding down in 2020.
This is almost the perfect fascist playbook. Control the population with fear-mongering and panic, control the media, spread propaganda and the fan-favorite disarm the population.
Oh, and did anyone notice that while they are mad as hell at Trump for not sending aid to Ukraine, they THEMSELVES voted AGAINST giving ANY emergency aid to all Americans?
Sorry, but I don’t think we are all going to die. Remember when Ebola was what was going to kill us all, and the media kept showing the piles of body bags that were prepared for the fallout? Then a month later it was totally forgotten.
The common flu has killed more people this year already and the media is SILENT!
A handful of deaths out of 320 million Americans and we are in panic tearing down our society and costing our economy billions in the wake. It all just seems fishy, a little too well-timed if you ask me.”

Last night at church as we were sharing prayer requests, I asked for prayer for someone I know who tested positive for COVID-19. As others shared stories of those who had tested positive, the mood was somber, as if we had learned of someone who had received the news of a terminal illness.
I thought to myself, is this really how we should be reacting to the news of the number of positive cases increasing?
My curious nature took me on a search to learn more about the testing that is currently being done for COVID-19. I learned something today and hopefully I can communicate it in a way that may help someone else wrap their brain around the topic.
I certainly don’t claim to be an expert on the subject, but I have a desire to learn and be informed and make the best decisions that affect my health and of those around me.
Today I was reading the explanation given on the CDC website for a COVID-19 viral positive test result which states the following:
“Viral tests check samples from your respiratory system, such as a swab from the inside of your nose, to tell you if you currently have an infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.”
This caused me to question what the SARS-CoV-2 virus is and why it has a different name than COVID-19.
A deeper look took me to the World Health Organization (WHO) website where I found information about the official names for the DISEASE (COVID-19) and the VIRUS (SARS-CoV-2) or severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
The International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV) are the ones who name the viruses and they announced the name of the new virus on Feb. 11, 2020.
Diseases are named by WHO and they announced “COVID-19” as the name of this new disease on the same day, Feb. 11, 2020.
The information went on to explain why the VIRUS and the DISEASE have different names. Viruses can CAUSE a disease (not the other way around). We tend to think of the name of the disease but not always the virus that causes it. For example, HIV is a virus that causes AIDS. Not everyone who is HIV positive will get AIDS. Another example might be this: Smoking causes cancer (among many other things), but cancer never causes smoking.
On the CDC website I also found a graphic which stated that not everyone with COVID-19 feels sick (this we have heard over and over).
It stated that a new report showed 238 U.S. Service members on a naval aircraft carrier (young healthy adults) tested positive for a current (viral test) or previous (antibody test) infection of COVID-19 … and that 1 in 5 of these had no symptoms. Which would indicate to me that they really didn’t have the disease but were a carrier of the virus.
So … back to the CDC explanation stated above. Following this logic, if you take a viral test sample (the nose swab test) … and get a positive result … this would indicate that you have an infection or the VIRUS that causes COVID-19. Which in my mind would NOT indicate that you have the DISEASE COVID-19.
This information is important to keep in mind when you see the numbers of positive test results.
Viruses are common and agreed this one can be deadly. However, having a positive test result does NOT mean you will experience symptoms or that it will eventually turn into the disease which may or may not result in death.
I agree that COVID-19 should be taken seriously, however a positive test result does not mean a death sentence.
Monitor yourself for symptoms, do what you can to avoid getting sick, seek medical attention when you experience symptoms, but don’t allow fear and anxiety (or the media) to overwhelm you.
