Jeffrey Epstein was found dead on August 10, 2019 in his jail cell inside the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

He was obviously a New York financier who had links to intelligence agencies, including Israel’s Mossad and America’s CIA. He also had connections to arms dealers with associations dating back to the 1980s.
He tried to position himself as a mediator in the 2017 Gulf rift between Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. He also had close ties to former DP World chief, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.
At least one FBI memo released in February 2026 revealed Epstein worked with US and Israeli intelligence.
“Epstein was close to the former Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Barak, and trained as a spy under him,” the memo said.

Last week, a few surviving Iranian officials appeared publicly attending Tehran’s annual al-Quds Day rally. Crowds marched in support of Palestinians during the event. One of the leaders, identified as Ali Larijani, addressed US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on an Internet X post:
“Mr. Hegseth! Our leaders have been, and still are, among the people. But your leaders? On Epstein’s island!”

Iran’s foreign ministry repeated the rhetoric earlier the same day. They described US and Israeli strikes on Iran as an assault by the “Epstein gang”.
The messaging has gained traction in Iran’s political discourse. Vast files documenting Epstein’s connections to powerful figures in the United States continue circulating worldwide.
Epstein Profile
Epstein was also a financier with ties to Israel and the Mossad.
• He abused and trafficked hundreds of young women and girls.
• He maintained ties with wealthy and influential individuals across politics and business.

Since US military action began, Iranian officials have repeatedly used the Epstein scandals. They use it to attack Washington’s leadership. These actions aim to undermine its moral authority during the conflict.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has especially joined the condemnations. This especially came after President Trump suggested he wanted influence over the selection of Iran’s next supreme leader following the US killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei earlier in the military campaign.
“The fate of dear Iran … will be determined solely by the proud Iranian nation, not by Epstein’s gang,” Ghalibaf wrote on X.
The rhetoric has also spread widely online. Liberal and woke news pundits and social media users claim that the US military campaign, officially named “Operation Epic Fury”, is a political distraction. They insist it shifts attention from their made up domestic controversies such as ICE is bad, climate change gives us only five years to exist or Epstein’s network. Online, some have the Iranian military actions dubbed as “Operation Epstein Fury”.
Rogue commentator Candace Owens amplified the discourse hours after the military action began on 28 February. She reshared a post featuring an AI-generated image of Trump standing between Israeli flags and suggested Washington was attacking Iran on Israel’s behalf.
Owens added the caption: “Operation Epstein Fury fully explained.”
Meanwhile, newly released files from the FBI include emails detailing a shipment of sacred cloth from the Kaaba in Mecca to the United States. The shipment was arranged through Epstein contacts linked to the United Arab Emirates. It was delivered to convicted pedophile Epstein.

The correspondence, dated February and March 2017, shows UAE-based businesswoman Aziza al-Ahmadi. She is working with a man named Abdullah al-Maari. Their goal is to organize the shipment of three pieces connected to the Kiswa.
The Kiswa is a black cloth with gold embroidery. It covered the Kaaba at the center of Islam’s holiest site in Saudi Arabia.
The Kiswa carries deep religious meaning for Muslims worldwide. Each year, the cloth is removed from the shrine and replaced with a new one. Parts of the previous Kiswa are treated as highly valuable artifacts.
Emails in the Epstein files show the items shipped by air freight from Saudi Arabia to Florida via British Airways. The coordination involved invoices, customs arrangements, and delivery inside the United States.

The messages describe three separate pieces.
• One is from inside the Kaaba.
• Another is from the outer covering that was used.
• A third piece is made from the same materials but was not used.
The correspondence describes the unused piece as a way to classify the shipment under “artworks”.
The shipment arrived at Epstein’s Florida home in March 2017. This was long after he had served his original jail time. He had also registered as a sex offender.
In one email, Ahmadi highlighted the cloth’s religious significance. He addressed Epstein directly: “The black piece was touched by at least 10 million Muslims. They belonged to different denominations, including Sunni, Shia, and others.”
“They walk around the Kaaba seven rounds then everyone tries as much as they can to touch it and they kept their prayers, wishes, tears and hopes on this piece. Hoping after that all their prayers to be accepted,” she added.
The correspondence does not explain how Ahmadi came to know Epstein or why the pieces were sent to him.
