Moments ago, US President Donald Trump announced a “fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE…at which point the War will be considered ENDED!”
“During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, and it will, I would like to congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran, on having the STAMINA, COURAGE and INTELLIGENCE to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.”
“This is a war that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will!” Trump continued. “God bless Israel, God Bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!”
Just prior to this announcement, the following messages from an active duty Army officer posted the following on social media that was going viral:
“Truth!
Don’t care. I see a lot of people nervous today. Why? People are texting and calling me, worried about the state of the world. Fearing for their own safety. Again, why?
Is this how you would’ve acted if we struck al-Qaeda on September 10th, 2001? A day before the towers fell?
You’re not looking at an administration eager to launch a ground war. There are GWOT veterans in charge now. And what’s the one thing we all wished for in hindsight? A time machine to deal with the problem before it happened.
You do realize if a nuclear weapon goes off anywhere in the world, America will have to react to it, right? Much less if it goes off here.
Do you want another Pearl Harbor? Another 9/11? A Lusitania?
Because historically, that’s what it takes to wake Americans up. We don’t act until there’s a crater.
This… this is what low intensity conflict looks like. It means striking before we’re struck. And say what you want about how America may have inflamed this situation over the decades. I can’t get on board with that. Not after fighting Iranian proxies and Quds Force during GWOT. Not after losing one of my own to one of their EFPs.
I’m telling you: these people want us fully dead. Not misunderstood. Not negotiated with. Dead.
If there’s one thing I know about the Middle East, it’s this: it’s like a wild garden. If you don’t prune it, vipers take refuge in the shade. That’s the way of things. And so it has been, since time immemorial.
Some of you are terrified a terrorist might strike your office or neighborhood. Why? I’ve been up close. They don’t pick a fight when you’re alert. They don’t attack the sheepdog, they wait for it to sleep. Then they go for the sheep.
I’m not sorry, this is what peace through strength looks like. This is what deterrence looks like. And deterrence doesn’t mean freedom from all violence, it means the timely use of force to prevent a far worse future.
That unsettles some people. But make no mistake: The rest of the world only responds to strength. That’s it.
You live inside a miracle within the borders of this country. Most of you can’t fathom what it takes to preserve that. But out there? Only the strong survive.
And if you want to keep living inside this miracle (safe, free, and untouched by the chaos of the world) then yes… it means we have to beat the hell out of people from time to time.
You can argue whether that’s good or bad. You can argue our meddling over the past 70 years did more harm than good, and you might be right.
But Iran with nukes? That’s not nuanced. That’s simple. They can’t have them.
If they felt bold enough to kill people like me in Baghdad, what makes you think they wouldn’t use something bigger on you?
It’s not that they are unwilling. It’s that up to this point, they have just been unable.
I don’t know what to tell you. The world is a bad place. It always has been. But you’re still here. That means you all have a role to play. Be thankful we’re not being asked to bleed for a fantasy again. You don’t have to save the world, just hold your corner of it with courage.
I have a son and son-in-law served from 1998 to 2025. My family have paid to keep you safe. And for those of you who say no war. You are wrong.”

Well reported, Jack. This entire cease-fire could go to shit in a few minuets. All it takes is a zealot going rogue. I don’t have the confidence of others, but Trump will be the playground monitor and the principal if need be. Iran, as a Muslim extremist country, is kaput. Bring in the young and take it back.

We have a genius example of “A stitch in time saves nine,” said by Ben Franklin, another genius placed by the Creator, who sees the whole playing field. The statement by the Army officer couldn’t put the situation better. And the people of Iran, fortunately, do not trust the regime ruling them; they know what’s going on. That regime probably doesn’t get it yet, but their heads are about to roll.

I’m pretty sure that Donald Trump hoped Iran would stick to their word, but knew they wouldn’t. After all, it’s okay to lie to infidels for Muslims. He’s ready for them. The thing is, THEY think they fooled him. We are watching a chess game here, still played by a genius. Everybody underestimates him.
