Another Insider Confesses White House Lied About Joe Biden’s Cognitive Decline

Finally, admitting what we all knew to be true.

Michael LaRosa, a former Biden White House official and longtime press secretary to Jill Biden, has revealed that staff knowingly “gaslit” the public and journalists about Biden’s age and cognitive decline.

LaRosa admitted that from “day one,” the White House recognized Biden’s age as a liability. He described colleagues as “scared to death” of allowing Biden unscripted moments, fearing it would expose his struggles.

Despite polls showing most Americans believed Biden was too old for a second term, staff downplayed the data and dismissed concerns, with some journalists brushing off questions about his health as right-wing conspiracies.

LaRosa hesitated to call it a “cover-up” but confirmed the gaslighting escalated as viral videos, Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s memory, and a Wall Street Journal piece highlighted his faltering demeanor.

Biden and his campaign remained adamant that he could serve another term and would stay in the race, but a disastrous debate performance against Trump in late June further eroded remaining trust in Biden’s abilities. He regularly stumbled over his words throughout the event and at times struggled to form coherent sentences.

Pressure built within the party over the next few weeks for Biden to step aside, which he did in July, to be replaced as the nominee by then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
