Trump’s Economic Freedom & Prosperity or Kamala’s Price Controls & Poverty?

Kamala Harris earned her nickname “Crazy Kamala” Friday as she traveled to North Carolina to make economic “promises” she has the power to implement now.

Harris has copied President Trump’s “No Tax On Tips.” However, unlike Trump, Harris has the power to implement the policy now.

Instead, the Kamala Harris IRS demands that employers report employees who do not report their $20 tips for tax purposes.

Harris also pledged a child tax credit of $6,000, copying Trump again. Interestingly, when JD Vance spoke about Trump’s child tax credit, Democrats and the mainstream media called Trump-Vance “sexist” and “weird.”

Like “No Tax on Tips,” Harris also has the power to implement the $6,000 child tax credit. However, she has not, with her IRS offering only a $2,000 child tax credit.

The most concerning part of Harris’ Friday economic speech came when she stated she would start implementing price controls, similar to Communist countries.

Unlike Kamala Harris, President Trump held a press conference on Thursday, answering questions from the media, after unveiling his economic plan. In November, voters will choose between economic freedom and prosperity or price controls and poverty.

Kamala Harris told her North Carolina crowd, “No Tax On Tips.” However, guidance released by the Harris-Biden IRS in February 2023 demands that employers report their employees’ tips exceeding $20.

The guidance reads, “The monitoring of employer compliance based on actual annual tip revenue and charge tip data from an employer’s point-of-sale system, and allowance for adjustments in tipping practices from year to year.”

The Harris-Biden IRS guidance goes on to explain to employers that if they enroll in the program, they will receive liability from the IRS if their employees do not report their tips,

“Participating employers receive protection from liability under the rules that define tips as part of an employee’s pay for calendar years in which they remain compliant with program requirements. Participating employers have flexibility to implement employee tip reporting policies that are best suited for their employees and their business model in accordance with the section of the tax law that requires employees to report tips to their employers.”

Kamala Harris has also promised a $6,000 child tax credit.

However, like “No Tax On Tips,” Harris’ IRS is doing the opposite of Harris’ pledge, offering a $2,000 child tax credit.

Democrats control the United States Senate, and Republicans, who control the House, support larger child tax credits, so why hasn’t Kamala Harris used her power to implement the larger child tax credit now?
