Over 4,000 Failures Each Year Worldwide

Al Gore, John Kerry and World Economic Forum leaders don’t want this exposed through media channels, but the fact is in Scotland whistle blowers have come foward to reveal that numerous wind power turbines have been powered by huge diesel generators in the winter to keep them warm. Apparently, this occurred through several seasons.

In the United States, based on 750 confirmable wind turbine gearbox damage records provided by wind plant owners and operators,  the majority of wind turbine gearbox failures (76%) are caused by the bearings. 

Gears were identified as the second leading cause of failures (17.1%) followed by other components that account for 6.9% of the failures. Among the other components, lubrication and filtration system problems are dominant.

Those figures only tell part of the story and that is only a fraction of the problems experienced in America.

At least “71 wind power turbines were connected to six massive diesel generators to de-ice them after a cabling fault developed,” one of the Scottish whistleblowers indicated. “Over 4000 liters of dirty oil were leaked from the wind power turbines and sprayed across the Scottish countryside.”

“The Scottish Government wants to make our country attractive to foreign investors as 40 per cent of the wind that blows across Europe blows across Scotland. However, that should not mean we put up with our waterways and nature being polluted with carbon from diesel generators and hydraulic oil.”

“People should be aware that, while their energy costs continue to rise, our windfarms are not operating as efficiently as they could be due to corporate greed.”

Labour’s Scotland MSP Colin Smyth said: “The SNP and Greens have proven time and time again they cannot be trusted on environmental issues. They laud Scotland’s potential for renewables, yet don’t appear to ensure those already in existence are properly run. This isn’t the first problem raised about this site and there is concern at a lack of openness when problems arise.

“Whatever the reasons, having to use diesel generators to de-ice faulty turbines is environmental madness. This level of dishonesty cuts to the very core of the SNP and Green Government where their rhetoric on net zero is very different from the reality.”

A year ago, this month, Popular Mechanics reported “Multiple turbines that are taller than 750 feet are collapsing across the world, with the tallest—784 feet in stature—falling in Germany in September 2021. To put it in perspective, those turbines are taller than both the Space Needle in Seattle and the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. Even smaller turbines that recently took a tumble in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Wales, and Colorado were about the height of the Statue of Liberty.

Recently, a court in France has ordered a windfarm to be dismantled after it was found that over 1000 birds have been killed by the blades.

The Nîmes, France court demanded the immediate “demolition of all the wind turbines” and restoration of the site within 15 months. 

Daily fines are to be paid by developer Energies Renouvelables du Languedoc-Valeco, a subsidiary of German energy company EnBW, if it does not comply with the demolition order. 

The onshore wind farm was commissioned in 2016 and is located near the southern town of Lunas in Languedoc, France. 

It has been the subject of a series of legal proceedings brought by residents and conservation groups, with the latter arguing that it was directly harmful to wildlife in the area, including golden eagles. 

French media reported that the body of a golden eagle deemed to have been killed by a wind turbine blade was found at the wind farm in January.
