Seventy-two senators and 302 members of the House of Representatives cashed a check from the pharmaceutical industry ahead of the 2020 election โ representing more than two-thirds of Congress.

Our health system has lost its ethics. It has became nothing more than a money and power grab machine. Driven by greed the Pharma companies pay off the ones who are suppose to protect us. It is used for political and finacial gain. Doctors over medicate us simply to get rich. Drug commercials dominate the advertisements on TV. I went to the doctor recently, something I try to avoid. The nurse could not believe I was not on some kind of prescription medicine. She looked at me wide eyed and said ” you aren’t on anything”? What a pity that not being on medication is looked at as odd.

Awesome. Dodie (RN) is also not on subscription medications. She knows other nurses, especially those in their 40s, 50s, 60s+ who do not take prescriptions. I’m down to 3 & working on eliminating them.

This was to be a Blog Entry, but here people may see it:
Good Grief. Due to a change in my living situation, I went from not watching TV to it being on all day long. It’s not the shows, but the commercials that bother me, and at this time, it’s Medicare commercials telling recipients this is the time of year to change plans if needed. But more frequent and more bizarre than those are Big Pharma commercials.
In the NetFlix series Fall of the House of Usher is a scene where a Big Pharma CEO is looking out his skyscraper windows, it’s raining hard in the scene. The devil or his representative is in the room, a black haired woman. As the rain can be seen falling, suddenly among the drops can be seen full sized human bodies falling with the rain, and the devil explains that these are the bodies of those that died from the medications the Pharmaceutical Company is making. Though they tie those medications to the relief of Chronic Pain, mentioning how difficult it is to get off of the medication; implying Opioid Medications abused today; they also discuss Dementia medications, but those, seemingly, were causing bizarre hallucinations.
I would have liked to link to the scene of bodies raining down, with the devil telling the CEO that these are just a few, that these deaths are going on worldwide, and many more bodies still will be in the rain, but it was removed for Copyright reasons, yet other scenes seem to be available. I think the scene hit too close to home, to close to the truth.
Commercials for Meds for (only a few of the many listed Side Effects are included below):
Arthritis – Death, Heart Attack, Tears in the Stomach have occurred.
Dementia (can cause Strokes and Heart Attacks in Elderly patients (really, who takes the most medication for Dementia, I’d think it was Elderly, so it can kill those that take it most often?)
HIV – Showing people engaging in intimacy, so if the meds don’t work, new patients to sell the medications to will result. They are encouraging HIV Positive Patients to have ongoing sexual relations with others.
Tardive Dyskinesia – May exacerbate the issue, and can cause Suicidal Ideation.
Skin Issues – Heart Attacks, Strokes, etc.
Wet Macular Degeneration – Retinal Detachment and more.
Flu/covid-19 simultaneous vaccines (what could go wrong here, LOL).
Ulcerative colitis can cause tears in the stomach and more.
Though some Adverse Side Affects are truly rare, it’s my concern with newer medications that these Side Effects are increasingly common.
Increasingly, the FDA Administrators are Former Big Pharma CEOs and other leaders, and frankly, their dedication to the companies that they worked for seem to be more important than the lives that are destroyed by their medications, so that the Fall of the House of Usher is an ongoing thing, being played out day after day. Apparently we can add Congress and the Senate to that cadre.
