Suspended Texas AG Legal Team Prepares For Impeachment Trial

A good rule of thumb is to pay attention to what liberal media is reporting or avoiding and believe just the opposite of their propaganda.

Examples that proved to be untrue include their coverage of:

• Barack Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi disaster.

• Obama’s “You can keep your doctor” and other Obamacare lies.

• Clinton’s destroyed emails and phone records.

• Russiagate coverage.

• Biden Crime Family involvement with China, Ukraine, and Burisma.

• Hunter Biden’s laptop.

• 2020 Election: Calling Biden the winner prematurely.

• Providing distorted coverage and false narrative for the planned Deep State Jan.6 insurrection.

More recently, in May 2023, the Texas House of Representatives voted 121-23 vote to impeach Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

This vote caused a temporary removal of Paxton from his office.

Behind the scenes, Big Media has ignored how Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, who has political ties siding with RINOS (Republicans in Name Only), was behind the plot to oust Paxton.

Phelan

Publicly, both former President Donald J. Trump and Republican Party of Texas chairman Matt Rinaldi were quick to call Phelan out.

“Speaker Dade Phelan and his leadership team have appointed Democrats to high ranking leadership positions, attacked the Republican Party of Texas, battled our  conservative Lieutenant Governor, and killed Governor Abbott’s top priorities,” wrote Rinaldi.

Rinaldi

“The impeachment proceedings against the Attorney General are but the latest front in the Texas House’s war against Republicans to stop the conservative direction of our state.”

Phelan, a state representative for Texas’ 21st district covering most of Jefferson and all of Orange and Jasper counties in the southeast corner of the state, has a strong local following of constituents, but many statewide conservatives see things differently.

Even President Donald Trump called Phelan “another Mitch McConnell,” for siding with Democrats to reduce penalties for illegal voting.

Trump was one of the first of many conservatives to voice concern. In a Truth Social post he wrote “The RINO [Republican in name only] Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, who is barely a Republican at all and failed the test on voter integrity, wants to impeach one of the most hard-working and effective Attorney Generals in the United States, Ken Paxton, who just won re-election with a large number of American Patriots strongly voting for him.”

“You would think that any issue would have been fully adjudicated by the voters of Texas, especially when that vote was so conclusive….”

In another post, he surmised that “Phelan was either very drunk last night or suffering from a medical condition.”

Knowing a plot to oust Paxton was in the works, Trump mentioned an “ugly spectacle in the Texas House” was conducted by “Speaker Phelan and the corrupt politicians he controls” and appeared “in an obviously intoxicated state” while presiding over the House.

Other lawmakers across the United States came out against the decision, with many bashing the Republicans that voted for his removal.  Many were prominent GOP members who saw early the Deep State induced steal of the 2020 election and Jan. 6.

Paxton was one of the most prominent legal challengers against the Deep State, when in 2020, he asked the US Supreme Court to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory.

“….I love Texas, won it twice in landslides, and watched as many other friends, including Ken Paxton, came along with me,” Trump followed up in a second social media post. “Hopefully Republicans in the Texas House will agree that this is a very unfair process that should not be allowed to happen or proceed—I will fight you if it does. It is the Radical Left Democrats, RINOS, and Criminals that never stop. ELECTION INTERFERENCE! Free Ken Paxton, let them wait for the next election!”

Today, the far-left, OBiden Administration and Big Media are predictable. Trump, Arizona’s Kari Lake, and Paxton are clear examples of the techniques and patterns used against those who fight against New World Order (NWO) controlled and owned politicians.

Popular meme

While Joe Biden meanders through the halls of the White House protected by mainstream media, a surge of false allegations that usually include misconduct in office, bribery, obstruction of justice, and abuse of public trust are thrust upon those against NWO disciples.

Last week, Paxton’s legal team wisely presented numerous last hour legal filings to halt his September impeachment trial before it actually begins in the Texas Senate.

These motions seek to dismiss more trumped-up articles of impeachment (same methodology being used against Trump) arguing that the allegations are baseless or fall under the legitimate duties of the attorney general’s office.

The documents, filed by Paxton’s team just before the deadline for pretrial motions, accused House impeachment managers of using “any means necessary” to “overturn the will of voters” who elected Paxton last year.

Paxton’s team, led by Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee, argued that the claims are without merit or do not rise to the level of impeachable offenses. They also filed a motion for summary judgment dismissing all 20 articles of impeachment, arguing that the accusations are unsupported by evidence.

• The House impeachment managers had until Aug. 15 to respond in writing to all pretrial motions.

• Paxton’s impeachment trial, with 30 Texas senators acting as jurors, is set to begin Sept. 5.

Combined with previous filings, these latest pretrial motions set the stage for what could be an impressive confrontation in the early moments of Paxton’s trial — a series of votes by senators on whether to eliminate some or all of the articles of impeachment before evidence can be presented.

Texas Capitol

If 16 (a majority) senators approve dismissal of an article, it could reveal a good determination of the chamber’s 19 Republicans to allow a trial on the allegations.

If all articles were to be dismissed, the impeachment trial would be over before it began.

If any article survives, the trial would move to opening statements by lawyers for the House impeachment managers. Paxton’s lawyers could deliver their opening statements immediately afterward or defer until later in the trial.

In two of the motions filed, 19 of the 20 articles of impeachment, they contend that all but one — Article 8 — ran afoul of the “prior-term doctrine.”

This doctrine bars officials from being impeached for conduct that predates their most recent election. They argued that almost all of the allegations outlined by House investigators were known to voters when they reelected him to his third six-year term in 2022.

In addition to those arguments, these new motions individually addressed the merits of the allegations.

Paxton’s lawyers seek to dismiss Article 8, which deals with his request that the Legislature finance his $3.3 million lawsuit settlement with previous whistleblowers — a request that prompted the initial House investigation into him earlier this year.

In its filing, Paxton’s team indicate the settlement is a “money-saving agreement” of “ordinary employment litigation” as the actions of Phelan’s House has “done violence to our democracy” by attempting to impeach Paxton over what is a “routine” function of his job.

“If that is enough to amount to a bribe, scarcely any elected official is innocent of the House’s notion of bribery,” Paxton’s attorneys noted.

One of the most insightful conservative influencers, DC Draino, tweeted “Texas House Republicans just voted overwhelmingly to impeach Trump-endorsed Attorney General Ken Paxton after he took on Biden, Big Pharma, and our country’s Open Borders. Looks like the RINO Swamp in Texas may be deeper than the Swamp in DC. Texas voters deserve so much better.”

  1. Curiouser and Curiouser. It’s possibly as retribution for speaking against Big Pharma, or at least Questioning them, but it’s more likely he’s been singled out for things yet to come. Immigration, Illegal Voting, etc.

A TSA Whistleblower claims that Masks and covid restrictions are to return this September, initially for U.S. Airline Flights. This caused me to be interested in Respirators, briefly, and I found one of dozens of articles that I wrote on the topic. Though simple masks likely provide limited benefit, they don’t provide the Benefit that most people think.

(This will tie back to your Blog Entry). Early on, I found an article that Emphatically Said Surgical Masks DO NOT change the outcome of exposures to Infected Flu Patients. It was a Dental Industry Specific Publication, and I made a PDF Copy of the Site. Enter covid, and voila, the Simple Mask Proven to not stop the flu was now stopping covid. The website with the article not only pulled the previous research, but they said things have changed and they chided visitors to their site to read their previously published Mask Article that emphatically claimed they did not stop the flu, saying if they weren’t dentists, they shouldn’t be there anyway.

But the Media Spin didn’t stop there, Forbes published an Article rebutting the article I mentioned:

𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 ‘𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙨 𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠’ 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙-19

I taught Respiratory Protection. There are Assigned Protection Factors (APF), Maximum Use Concentrations, Fit Testing, and much more.

An N95 Filter stops 95% of the Particles 0.3 Microns and Larger. Right? Well yes. But if I shape the N95 into a Mask, the Assigned Protection Factor comes into play. For Half Face N95 and Elastomeric Respirators (Rubber or Silicone and often uses 2 External Cartridges) have an Assigned Protection Factor of 10, Meaning 1/10 of the Atmosphere makes it past the Face to Facepiece Seal and is breathed in. 1/10 is 10%. Therefore it’s impossible to stop 95% of the contaminants (pathogens here) because 10% leak in Unfiltered and therefore, best circumstances, only 90% can be stopped, and likely less than 90% in practicality.

The N95 “Filter” on Filtering Facepiece Respirators or Elastomeric Respirators filters 95% of the Particles 0.3 Microns and Larger. covid is 0.125 Microns and smaller. Therefore, more than 5% likely gets past the Filter.

So, 10% leaks in, and more than 5% gets past the filter, and likely less than 90% of the Pathogens are stopped.

But the Surgical Mask has no Face to Facepiece Seal. For Airborne Contaminants, and Pathogens, they will enter the mask quite freely.

    Forbes has a ludicrous paragraph:
𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚, 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙪 𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙨 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝘼𝙍𝙎-𝘾𝙤𝙑-2, 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣, “𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩” 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝘼𝙍𝙎-𝘾𝙤𝙑-2 “𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙖 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙙, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙-19.”

Ah, a Mask that doesn’t work on the flu, because it is less contagious, works on covid, which is far more contagious. That makes no sense at all.

Forbes uses Science 4 times in the article, mentions Anti-Mask twice and Anti-Vaccine once (realize that the use of Science and Anti are keys to biasing the reader to the narrative pushed by the publication), yet where are the Discussion of Maximum Use Concentrations, Assigned Protection Factor, Fit Testing, etc. There is none, it’s all gobbledygook to bias the reader into using masks, it’s like watching a Magic Show and being gullible enough to believe the person is actually doing the impossible things they show, it’s actually sleight of hand.

I had only seen the Forbes Article, searching for the Forbes Article just now, all the liberal media jumped on the Anti-Normal Respiration without a Mask Bandwagon, and it’s almost guaranteed that none of them presented facts.

So, in your Blog, the media is largely useless, they have an agenda, they intend on implementing that agenda, and pushing masks, or destroying the life of a person that was elected by the majority and likely had done nothing wrong to deserve impeachment, all the while Democrats guilty of a range of horrible and costly things remain unpunished.
