The dark cloud of suspicion hanging over FBI Director Christopher Wray grew into a storm of outrage after the FBI reneged on their duty to release a document related to the Biden Crime Family.
On Monday, US House Oversight Chair James Comer confirmed they are going to pursue Contempt of Congress charges against Wray on Thursday.
This particular House Committee criminal investigation involves an arrangement of a $5 million international bribery scheme involving Joe Biden during his tenure as vice president, and a foreign national.
The document revolves around a whistleblower, described as a “highly credible” FBI confidential source, who has been actively involved in various investigations since the Obama administration.
The FBI’s refusal to disclose the document has raised even more grave concerns about Wray’s ability to lead, the FBI’s transparency, and has strengthened suspicions of partisanship within one of the largest government agencies during the Biden administration.
“Given the severity and complexity of the allegations contained within this record, Congress must investigate further,” Comer wrote. “The investigation is not dead. This is only the beginning.”
Comer said FBI officials confirmed Monday that the unclassified FBI-generated record “has not been disproven and is currently being used in an ongoing investigation by a confidential human source who provided information about the vice president by being involved in a criminal bribery scheme is a trusted, highly credible informant who has been used by the FBI for over ten years and has been paid over 6 figures.”
The contempt of Congress process is a federal misdemeanor invoked when an individual, in this case, Wray, is accused of failing to comply with a subpoena or to cooperate with a congressional inquiry.

Without it, “a federal misdemeanor” hardly seems like a punishment… or even a future deterrent.
