Social media are blocking all attempts to post White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s reply to a hostile media when questioned about the legality of President Donald Trump’s announcement he will be nominating a person for Supreme Court justice soon.

McEnany simply referred the reporters to Joe Biden’s own words that he would appoint someone prior to the election as did Barack Obama and Kamala Harris in 2016, where they said the seat should be filled without delay.

The precedents set in election years, show presidents have nominated people 29 times. 19 of those times were when it wasn’t divided and 17 were confirmed. 10 were when it was divided and only two were put through. Presidents have gotten people confirmed even in lame duck sessions after an election.
