The late Chuck Norris’s
brother, PFC Wieland Norris, was killed-in-action on June 3, 1970 in Thua Thien-Hue, Vietnam while serving with A/2-506th Infantry.
Wieland was born to Ray and Wilma Norris. He was half Cherokee and half Irish.
The family moved to Kansas and finally to Torrance, California. Wieland had a two brothers Aaron Norris and an older brother Carlos Ray who became known as actor Chuck Norris.
A recipient of a posthumous Silver Star, his brothers have done many things to honor their hero. All the “Missing in Action” movies were dedicated to Wieland Norris.
