America’s UN Ambassador Shuts Down Iranian Regime’s Mouthpiece

As the Iranian representative attempted to lecture the U.S. on “politeness,” Ambassador Mike Waltz delivered a masterclass in moral clarity.

After being confronted with the reality of the U.S.-led strikes, Iran’s envoy, Amir Saeid Iravani, told Waltz: “I advise to the representative of the United States to be polite. It will be better for yourself and the country you represent”.

Without missing a beat, Ambassador Waltz fired back: “Frankly, I’m not going to dignify this with another response, especially as this representative sits here in this body, representing a regime that has killed tens of thousands of its own people and imprisoned many more simply for wanting freedom from your tyranny”.

Waltz noted the irony of a regime that has chanted “Death to America” for 47 years and even attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump. Now, they are demanding “politeness” on the international stage.

In a final sting, Waltz reminded the Council that while the regime complains about the “vagaries of international law,” the Iranian people are currently “celebrating in the streets around the world”.

This exchange follows Waltz’s earlier confirmation that the U.S. will do whatever is necessary to ensure the “machinery of slaughter” can never threaten the world with a nuclear weapon.
