Over the past few days, content creator Nick Shirley posted a widely shared video regarding massive fraud.
This fraud involved Minnesota daycare and state social service programs.
The video rapidly spread across social platforms and sparked nationwide discussion, anger and ridicule against Democrat leaders in Minnesota and beyond.
The video shows footage of several licensed daycare locations that appeared inactive or empty while reportedly still receiving state funds.
Minnesota state officials confirmed they became aware of the video and the issues it raised.
The state says regular inspections have been conducted and additional visits were planned to verify conditions.
Republican lawmakers and commentators called for increased oversight and accountability following the video.
Federal agencies were already investigating fraud related to similar social service claims. This includes the FBI. However, that investigation is separate and ongoing.
Some “experts” and “officials” have said not all allegations in the video have been independently verified.
Some say some of the facilities in question remain licensed and inspected.
This is an ongoing situation with responses from state leaders, lawmakers, and federal authorities.
Social media is going wild as most mainstream media pundits basically ignore or cushion the allegations and evidence.
