Jan 6 Pipe Bomber Was a Female Capitol Police Officer Who Now Works for CIA

Remember the name Shauni Kerkhoff.

In 2015, during a soccer game, she broke her tibia and underwent five hours of surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. The surgery left her with a very specific gait in her walk.

Shauni Kerkhoff

A forensic analysis of the female former U.S. Capitol Police officer’s walking gait is a 94%-98% match to the specific stride of the long-sought Jan. 6 pipe-bomb suspect.

She was a Capitol Police officer for four and a half years, but left the department in mid-2021 for a “security detail” at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

During a D.C. court hearing, the prosecutions first witness on March 2, 2022 was Kerkhoff. She was working with the Civil Disturbance Unit of the U.S. Capitol Police during the January 6, 2020 disturbance.

She was testifying in the trial of Guy Reffitt, who was accused of leading the mob toward the Capitol.

Her testimony revealed she launched approximately 30 to 40 pepper balls at Reffitt in an attempt to deter him from advancing toward the Capitol.

She described the situation as “dire” and noted that her actions did not seem to affect Reffitt’s behavior.

Kerkhoff expressed feelings of panic during the confrontation, which lasted longer than it seemed. Reffitt was accused of charging at police while armed, although Kerkhoff did not see a weapon on him.
She opted not to use her service weapon due to concerns about potential shootouts with armed individuals in the crowd.

The crowd was “angry and violent” and extended “as far as I could see,” she testified. “They were calling us ‘traitors.’ “

The prosecution played a recording of Kerkhoff calling for backup over the radio. Kerkhoff described her own voice on the recording as “panicked.”

It is not certain if she has any connection to Jennifer Kerkhoff Muyskens, a federal prosecutor with over 200 planned cases against citizens who were on the Capitol grounds on January 6.

She was the subject of a misconduct case tried by prosecutors with D.C.’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel.

The Gait Matches

“A software algorithm that analyzes walking parameters including flexion (knee bend), hip extension, speed, step length, cadence, and variance rated Shauni Rae Kerkhoff, 31, of Alexandria, Va., as a 94% match to the bomb suspect shown on video from Jan. 5, 2021,” according to Blaze News. “The veteran analyst who ran the analysis for Blaze News said that based on visual observations the program can struggle with, he personally pegged the match at closer to 98%.”

Samples of Kerkhoff’s gait were taken from Jan. 6 Capitol Police CCTV security video. This was compared to unedited video of the hoodie-wearing suspect walking through an alley near C Street.

The suspect allegedly placed a pipe bomb behind the Capitol Hill Club about 8:16 p.m. on Jan. 5.

The former Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office has some serious explaining to do.

One year ago this week, congressional scrutiny intensified. Cellular carriers disclosed to the United States Congress that they possessed intact phone usage data. This data was from the area where two pipe bombs were planted on January 5, 2021.

This strongly contradicted Joe Biden era FBI testimony that agents could not identify a suspect due to “corrupted data.”

Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), chair of the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, recalled that in June 2023, Steve D’Antuono, the former Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, testified that phone data from the vicinity of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters was corrupted.

D’Antuono

He said this prevented investigators from identifying the suspect who planted the explosive devices hours before the Capitol was breached.

Loudermilk’s subcommittee later reached out to the major cellular carriers to verify the claim.

“Every major cell carrier responded and confirmed that they did not provide the FBI corrupted data,” Loudermilk said. Furthermore, carriers stated they were never notified of any issues with accessing the data.

Pipe bomber

“This contradictory testimony raises some serious questions about the status of the investigation into the pipe bomber and why the case remains unsolved nearly four years later,” Loudermilk added.

On Dec. 2, 2022, D’Antuono announced that “after a 26-year, 10-month career with the FBI, I chose to retire. Yesterday was my last day.”

D’Antuono was the agent in charge of the investigations into both the Gov. Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot and the Jan. 6 Capitol protests.

Between D’Antuono and  former Capitol Hill Police Chief Steven Sund that, in addition to “a handful” of paid informants, the FBI had at least 18 undercover agents in the J6 crowd, plus an estimated 20 from the Department of Homeland Security.

Ashli Babbitt’s Mother

Kerkhoff had joined the CIA by the time Micki Witthoeft, the mother of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot by Robert Byrd during  Jan. 6, 2021 was arrested at the Capitol on the two year anniversary of her daughter’s murder.

Witthoeft, 58, was accused of traffic violations, according to U.S. Capitol Police, who said she was taken into custody but later released.

Officials said that Witthoeft and a group of other demonstrators were walking on a street by the Capitol when police told the group to move off of the road.

Chris Wray Failed

By May 2023, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), wrote to FBI Director Christopher Wray  indicating he has “failed” to adequately comply with requests for a briefing and must make amends.

Wray

Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Bill Posey (R-FL), who co-signed the committee’s letter to Wray, explained that their unfulfilled congressional requests stemmed from a whistleblower disclosure about a D.C.-based effort to get FBI field offices around the country to canvass all confidential human sources for information about the suspect.

They raised concerns stemming from a Washington Times May 24, 2023 report which cited a former FBI official who claimed technicians determined the found devices were inoperable and the bureau was able to link the suspected bomber to a D.C. MetroRail SmarTrip card and the license plate of a car the individual entered, as seen in security camera footage from a Northern Virginia Metro stop.

May 2023 Headline

To this day, just as the 9/11 attacks, Oklahoma City bombing, Nashville explosion, Hillary Clinton’s emails, the planted Trump-Russian investigation, and the Jeffrey Epstein list, the pipe bomb investigation has been a significant source of controversy.

While the FBI obtained photographic and video evidence of the pipe bombs suspect, including images of the individual holding what appears to be a cell phone, to this day, the bureau continues to claim they have been unable to identify or locate them. A $500,000 reward for information remains active.

  1. I always thought the pipe bomber looked like a female but hearing that she worked as Capitol Police Officer that day, proves that the whole j-6 riot was a set up from the get go. Chris Wray lied to Congress and needs to be indicted. Nancy also was a part of this and probably why she is retiring at this time as the evidence comes out. Officer Sicknick’s death also needs to be investigated. He knew something that they didn’t want out. Makings for a political thriller movie someday when someone has the guts to produce the true story.
