Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, the anti-Trump Puerto Rican singer known as Bad Bunny is set to take the stage during the 2026 Super Bowl in February 2026.
On both sides of the political aisle, there are sports fans who just want to enjoy the game. They want to do this without the propaganda they have grown to despise. These political messages often promote social engineering.
In the center of the public debate some people hold a significant backlash from middle of the road and conservative Americans.
On the flop side are left wing factions excited about the news.
Here is the Good, Bad and Ugly
A quick look at social media posts shows the division:

The problem with some of these posts is that they are not grounded in reality. They are fake.
The same things occurred after the devastating July 4, 2025 floods in the Texas Hill Country. Social media posts of celebrities inundated the internet claiming quotes and opinions that had never occurred. It was discovered forensically that these memes and posts were initiated from foreign countries.
Recently, foreign agents are posting similar fake and misleading posts regarding Bad Bunny and the Superbowl:
Maya Zamora, a 10 year old student, underwent more than 20 surgeries after she suffered gunshot wounds to her chest, back, hands and arms during the May 24, 2022 elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 of her classmates and two teachers dead. After 66 days, she was the last shooting victim to be released from the hospital.
Zamora had to have more than 20 surgeries after suffering gunshot wounds to her hands, arms, chest and back.
Carlos Correa plays baseball for the Minnesota Twins. He previously played with the Houston Astros. He met with Zamora and her family when the Twins faced the Astros at Minute Maid Park. Zamora was the August 2022 Hero of the Month for the Correa Family Foundation.
While recovering, Zamora learned the Uvalde shooter had lived just blocks away from her home. She hadn’t been back to her childhood home for that reason.
Correa’s foundation, along with Bad Bunny’s Good Bunny Foundation and others, raised the funds to build Zamora’s family a new home.
“After everything she went through, the battle she went through, and now she’s here with us. We want to celebrate life and celebrate her life. She’s here with us and we’re here to support her all the way through. It’s not just by helping with the house, but helping with whatever they need,” said Correa.
The new home was fully furnished with an opportunity for Zamora and her family to “rebuild their lives, make new memories and work towards a brighter future,” according to the president of the Correa Family Foundation Dr. Ricky Flores.
Not only did Bad Bunny help finance the new Zamora house, he hosted the family to an executive suite at his Arlington, Texas concert that September. He then followed up by inviting even more Robb Elementary victims family to a suite at a San Antonio concert.

This was really well done! Propaganda is everywhere and a lot of it really is from foreign sources. I wish we could teach people to be more discerning.

Not sure where I stand on this guy, I’ve read so much bad PR that paints him as a freak and a conservative Christian hater, so this is the first thing I’ve read that puts him in a good light. I’m no fan of the worthless super bowl anyway, and haven’t watched for years, so I doubt I’ll be watching this one unless the Cowboys are in it, and we all know that will never happen, at least in our lifetimes, Jack, and I’m older than you. I think a better choice for the show would be Willie, David Allen Coe, Robert Earl Keen, Rodney Crowell, Rosanne Cash and Allison Krause, all on one stage.

Speaking of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Look at this. I wrote this email to a couple of friends of mine recently:

Something VERY providential happened in the past 24 hours. Yesterday afternoon I began watching the film THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (1966), starring Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef. I haven’t seen that film in quite some time. It is considered a classic western. So I watched most of it yesterday and then I finished watching it this morning. It is such a great film.
As I began to watch that film, it bore witness with my spirit that I was SUPPOSED to watch that film. It wasn’t merely that I enjoyed the acting, the scenery, the cowboys, the Civil War, the musical score (which is excellent)—the Lord wanted me to watch that film for some reason. Over the years, the Lord has had me watch certain secular films to show me a scene or to listen to certain dialogue that he would use to show me something or reveal to me something important. Two films off the top of my head would be HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER (1973) and MINORITY REPORT (2002).
After I finished watching THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY, I looked at my two blogs and then looked at a couple of videos on Bit Chute and then I wanted to read an article or two on the Iowa State-Cincinnati football game that was played yesterday. Iowa State lost to Cincinnati 38-30. I did an internet search on Iowa State football and read one or two articles. Then I noticed this article:

Wow! What are the odds of me watching the film THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY and then later that day I see this sports article titled “The Good, Bad and Ugly from Iowa State . . .” I couldn’t believe it! Perfect timing. But the Lord made it happen. When you are led by the Holy Ghost, things like this happen.
So the big question is why did the Lord want me to watch the film THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY? Right now, I am not sure, but I will wait on the Lord and He will reveal to me something significant about that film. Sometimes when these things happen, it means that I am on the right track or I am in God’s perfect will.

You know what else happened? After I sent that email to my friends, I signed out of my Outlook/MSN account. Then the MSN newsfeed came up. The first article that I saw was about Clint Eastwood’s Top 10 films. Guess which was #1. That’s right: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.

If sports venues do half-time shows, maybe they ought to stick to sports-related themes and heroes? Nah, I know no one’s going to go for that. But this is nuts.
