American Patriot Charlie Kirk, Father of Two, Fatally Shot in Utah by Assassin

Who assassinated Charlie Kirk? Two photos released indicate the strong possibility of a dark clothed sniper on the roof of a university building across from where Kirk was shot.

Assassin?

Kirk died at age 31 after being shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, Sept. 10, according to President Donald Trump.

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” the president shared on Truth Social on Wednesday afternoon. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.”

Kirk was fired upon at 12:10 pm while he was manning his “Prove Me Wrong” booth on his American Comeback Tour at the university.

Videos and photographs circulating online show Kirk struck in the side of the neck under a pop-up tent. Spectators immediately fled in panic, as a suspect was quickly apprehended across and up above the courtyard where the attempted assassination occurred.

That suspect was taken into custody after the shooting at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Later, news reports came out indicating the person was not the assassin.

Moments before his assassination

“We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!” President Donald Trump wrote on his social media platform originally.

One White House source indicated Trump was “visibly shaken” when he heard the news. He cancelled his scheduled events. This included a Rose Garden dinner this evening with media representatives.

Several top administration officials also issued messages of support for Kirk, who was 31 and a father of two.

Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Kirk

Kirk, the founder of the conservative youth activist organization Turning Point USA, has been a close ally to Trump and many members of his administration.

“Say a prayer for Charlie Kirk, a genuinely good guy and a young father,” Vice President JD Vance wrote on X.

FBI Director Kash Patel posted that the bureau is “closely monitoring reports of the tragic shooting involving Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Our thoughts are with Charlie, his loved ones, and everyone affected. Agents will be on the scene quickly and the FBI stands in full support of the ongoing response and investigation.”

“Prayers for Charlie Kirk. An incredible Christian, American, and human being. May the healing hand of Jesus Christ be upon him,” Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth wrote on X.

  1. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. What a tragic loss! IMO, if a leftist progressive leader had been murdered, there would be riots and cities would be burning tonight. That is the difference between us and them.

  2. Charlie Kirk’s assassination is so upsetting. He shared and defended God’s Word with amazing Biblical knowledge. He was passionate about the First Commandment, his family, and sharing the Good News. He is a martyr for his faith.

  3. Thanks, Jack for getting this out. I didn’t even know until Bible study tonight; my Internet has been on the fritz all day. I’m just mad, and sickened. We need a firewall of prayer, because the Left is serious, they are viscious animals in a corner, and we’ve got brave people in danger. I don’t wonder that DJT was “visibly shaken.” Dear God; I know he’s more afraid for his family than even himself.

Charlie Kirk, a man of integrity; taken out. His poor family. This is why we can’t turn into them, full of hate. We won’t burn down the cities, we will build and restore in spite of these maniacs.

    Hope you are feeling better.

  4. Thank you, Jack. I went to X, Twitter, to read reactions to Charlie Kirk’s murder, and I’m sorry I did. Sure, there were many heartfelt posts, but there were more sickening ones. I am now convinced that our country is in more trouble than I imagined. Overwhelmingly, the sickest posts were from young white liberal women: teachers, IT execs, college students, all of whom appear to be single and reside in the eastern part of our country. This country is in real-time trouble, and social media feeds the demons and gives them a platform to spread their evil. I want to say more, but for once, I don’t know what to say, or how to say it, without offending almost everyone. Good job on getting on top of this tragic day.

  5. The left wing is patently Satanic. They are the culture of death (abortion & transgenderism), the culture of cancellation and the culture of being offended at any little thing that hurts their feelings. “If I don’t get my way, I am going to have a temper tantrum or a screaming contest or start a riot.” They hate freedom of speech. They hate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:18: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.”

Charlie Kirk was killed because he spoke the truth. Satan and the left wing are always trying to suppress the truth: if they can’t kill the truth, they will suppress or kill the truth teller.

  6. “I must add… my gratitude to you for the attention with which you have listened to me, for, from my numerous observations, our Liberals are never capable of letting anyone else have a conviction of his own without at once meeting their opponent with abuse or even something worse.”

  7. Very sad day. Feels like the 1960’s starting again.

What words come to mind when his death was announced what Jesus reassures us with

Well done my good and faithful servant

These words I’m sure Charlie reflected on throughout his ministry. He evangalized on faith knowing in the back of his mind that one day he would be silenced for God. I’m betting he would do it all over again in the name of Jesus.

Would we as believers in God do what Charlie has done. Are we prepared to drink from the cup when Jesus said at the last supper. His disciples claimed that they wanted to follow him even unto death. Jesus said “Are you prepared to drink from the cup” Charlie did.
