President Donald Trump refers to him as the “Border Czar, ” Tom Homan’s real title is White House Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations.
In 2015, Barack Obama awarded him a Presidential Rank Award as a Distinguished Executive. A Washington Post article at the time stated, “Thomas Homan deports people. And he’s really good at it.”
When Homan walked forward to address the media on Monday, the former Acting ICE Director, a man who spent over 40 years working for six presidents starting with Ronald Reagan, wasted no time laying out the brutal truth.
“Every president I ever worked for took border security seriously,” he said.
“Even President Obama and President Clinton took some steps to secure the border.”
But Biden, Homan warned, destroyed that legacy on purpose.
“Joe Biden was the first president in the history of this nation who came into office and unsecured a border on purpose. That’s just a fact.”
Homan explained that President Donald Trump had handed Biden “the most secure border in my lifetime”—and Biden tore it apart by design.
Now, with Trump’s return to the White House, Homan said, “we have the most secure border in the history of this nation. The numbers prove it. President Trump’s policies are saving lives everyday.”
And those numbers aren’t just lines on a spreadsheet. They represent real human lives.
Homan pointed to stunning research showing that 31% of women who cross cartel-controlled routes are sexually assaulted.
Homan hit the press with a series of questions that hung heavy in the room:
“When illegal immigration drops by 96% under Trump’s policies, how many women aren’t being sexual assaulted by the cartels?”
“How many children aren’t dying making that journey?”
“How many women and children aren’t being sex trafficked in this nation?”
“How many known expected terrorists aren’t making it into this country?”
Homan wasn’t catering to the media or just talking politics. He focused them on the issue and reality. The elimination of horrible suffering—and saving lives.
