Judicial Watch Sends Notice to Oregon to Clean Up Their Voter Rolls

A warning (technically, a “notice letter”) is what political watchdog organization Judicial Watch sent to the Oregon Secretary of State last week, warning the State of Oregon of their evident violations of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) requiring the removal of inactive voters from their voter rolls.

“If Oregon fails to begin cleaning its voter rolls in a timely fashion, we will go to federal court and sue them!” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton informed us.

“Our warning to Oregon is based on our election law team’s thorough review of federal and state election data. This is a detailed, demanding, “roll up your sleeves” process…a process that no other group in the country undertakes.

Dirty election rolls can mean dirty elections…and with a presidential election less than four months away, it is vital that Oregon gets to work cleaning its voter registration rolls of ineligible voters to remove any cloud of doubt over the legitimacy of its balloting.

Fitton

“The corrupt Biden Justice Department should be pursuing this action in court, not Judicial Watch,” Fitton said. But for years the Justice Department has failed to do its duty.

“And that’s why…with the support you have given us in the past…Judicial Watch has stepped into the breach, and already forced the removal of over 4.5 million ineligible voters from voter lists across the country…and that number is about to go up!”
