We must not forget seeing the Democrat talking heads on TV saying that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by such a large margin that Trump has no mandate and that we should do away with the Electoral College.

The Electoral College was put in place by our founding fathers to keep densely populated areas from controlling the elections.

Amazing thing in that election is Clinton did win the popular vote by some 2.5 million votes.

However, if you take out NYC and LA county, Trump won by over 500,000 votes.

Now, of course, we couldn’t take out those two, but it points out that if there were no Electoral College, the outcome would be determined by two large metropolitan areas.

Also, the left and the mainstream media kept pounding on the notion that the Russians hacked and influenced the election, and it was the only reason Trump won.

We now know media and deep state pundits were lying. Hopefully, more Americans will recognize their tactics today.

In any event, if they truly intended to influence the election in Trump’s favor, they did a poor job if Hillary won by 2.5 million votes. These maps show exactly where both Trump and Clinton’s support came from and why the Electoral College is important to maintain.
