Party of the Damned

Look Into Their Eyes

I am kind of creeped out after a fellow Texas-based blogger, Phil Spawn, responding to our recent article, 7 Reasons Trump’s New York Trial Was Rigged, observing the far-left operatives had a certain common look. He noted that “You can see it in their eyes. They all have the same demonic, crazed look in their eyes.”

So what did I do?

I took him up on his challenge and was literally creeped out after an examination of the eyes.

1965 movie poster

I replied to Phil, that “from the backseat of my parents car, at the Trail Drive In Theater (in San Antonio), I couldn’t have been more than 5, when I saw a movie, Village of the Damned. It gave my young mind a Twilight Zone-type vibe. Black & White, it was about a village whose females all gave birth on the same day. As the children grew, their eyes were eerily white &  glowed.”

Intrigued, I do what I usually do–investigated. Relieved it wasn’t a figment of my imagination, this original classic was a hit in 1961.

Village of the Damned

“The film gets off to an intriguing start as the residents of a small village feint in unison,” one viewer described it many years ago. “The effects are not obvious until a few months later when every woman of child bearing age suddenly becomes pregnant all at once! The film is undoubtedly most famous for the central image of a group of blonde haired children staring menacingly.”

Phil, as usual, was spot on. He wrote that, “If anyone thinks I’m wrong, go back and look at the closeup pictures of these people, you’ll see it.”

The first Democrat I thought of was Nancy Pelosi. President Trump had asked the legislative branch of government for $6 billion to fund a southern border wall to help stop the flow of drugs, human trafficking, illegal entry and other crime.

Speaker Pelosi, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel, D-N.Y deemed the border wall “immoral.”

By January 2017, Pelosi led a government shutdown and insisted Trump delay his State of the Union Address until the “government reopened.”

I imagined what her eyes must have been like when she first read (my favorite letter from his first term) President Trump’s letter to her.

Just moments before Pelosi, Schiff and Engel, with a congressional delegation set to depart on a military aircraft, Trump stopped the plane from leaving.

“Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate,” Trump wrote.

“I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.”

The delegation took the military bus back to DC.

There is little doubt in my mind that Pelosi’s middle school-type tantrum during President Trump’s State of the Union address was in response to the letter.

Today, I wonder how much  more safe Americans would be if Pelosi’s Congress would have invested in the Border Wall, in lieu of the $232 BILLION they approved for Ukraine so far during Biden’s term.

Back to Phil Spawn’s observation about the eyes, let’s take a look:

      • Dang! I must have ignored his face to get into the text! Another good one would have been Jack Smith. Actually there are just too damned many to choose from! [cid:image001.png@01DABB75.F351C100]

        • Interesting. I thought of Smith when I first writing this, but think I was so keyed up in the middle of the night that I totally forgot about him. The good thing is, this is making people notice & think of others. We appreciate you.
