Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice conducted the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, the private home of former President Donald J. Trump on August 8, 2022.
Here is a list of the 20 Republican Senators who joined Democrats to confirm Garland’s nomination in March 2021 as attorney general.
Roy Blunt, Missouri
Richard Burr, North Carolina
Shelley Capito, West Virginia
Bill Cassidy, Louisiana
Susan Collins, Maine
John Cornyn, Texas
Joni Ernst, Iowa
Lyndsey Graham, South Carolina
Chuck Grassley, Iowa*
Jim Inhofe, Oklahoma (retiring in Nov. 2022).
Ron Johnson, Wisconsin*
James Lankford, Oklahoma
Mitch McConnell, Kentucky
Jerry Moran, Kansas
Lisa Murkowski, Alaska
Rob Portman, Ohio
Mitt Romney, Utah
Mike Rounds, South Dakota (former governor)
John Thune, South Dakota
Thom Tillis, North Carolina
*Grassley and Johnson denounced the FBI’s actions shortly after the raid.
These senators voted to confirm him even after Garland:
🔹refused to answer “whether illegally entering the country should remain a crime.”
🔹refused to say whether he would protect female athletes from having their privacy and victories interrupted by men.
🔹refused to commit to releasing special counsel John Durham’s report probing the Russia collusion hoax against Donald Trump.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz voted against Garland’s confirmation because he “refused to make clear that he would stand against the politicization of the department, which we saw during the Obama-Biden years.”
Sen. Tom Scott said Garland was a “radical” who might “politicize” the Department of Justice. “When he did answer questions, he sounded more like a liberal ideologue who would embrace the radical agenda of the Democratic party’s far left base.”
While President Donald J. Trump was in office and things were going well for farmers and ranchers, legendary calf roper Tex Kent decided it was finally time for a new truck.
The 20-year-old truck he had patched and repaired for the past 10 years was so well used that his sweet wife finally refused to ride in it with him to town. Since it had been some time since he had bought a truck, the rancher contacted a friend, of a friend, of a friend that worked at a big city dealership.
Kent called the truck dealer to find out he could get a basic new truck for around $30,000. He deciphered his return on investment and payment amounts with his banker and decided he would drive in to the city the next week to select a new pickup that his sweet wife would be proud to ride in.
Kent arrived at the dealership to meet the salesman that was refered to him by his friends’, friend’s, friend.
“So what type of truck do you need?” the dealer asked as he shook his hand.
Kent replied, “Just a basic ranch truck, nothing too fancy.”
The salesman then started asking some questions, “Do you need four-wheel-drive? Do you need a 3/4 ton truck to pull your trailer? Do you want an automatic transmission? Do you want air-conditioning? Do you need a towing package and a grill guard? Do you want oversized trailer mirrors? Do you need a tool-box for your tools? Do you need floor mats for your muddy feet? Do you want a king-cab so you can keep your records, receipts, and coat clean and dry?
Kent pulled out his red bandana, wiped his brow, then blowed his nose and interrupted, “Sir these are all things a rancher needs on a basic ranch work truck!‘
The salesman replied, “Well they may be standard to you, but they aren’t to Ford Motor Company.”
Their discussion about what was needed on a basic ranch truck went on for several more minutes and finally the salesman said, “I have three trucks on the lot that are just what you need. Do you want a white one, a blue one, or a brown one?”
Cowboy Kent replied, “I don’t really care that much, but I don’t think I want brown, and the white one will show all of the mud and dirt, so I will go with the red one.”
The salesman said, “Ok Let’s take it for a test drive.”
While out on the test drive the salesman said, “You know I would really like to have 10 or 12 cows myself. What does a basic cow sell for these days?’
Kent scratched his head and replied well cows are sort of like trucks, an average cow, or the basic model as you might call them, sells for around $1,000.”
Kent really enjoyed the test drive and the visit with his new acquaintance. Everything was fine until they got back to the dealership to fill out the paperwork. He started signing sheet after sheet and finally asked, “So what is the total cost of this truck?
The sales man replied, “$44,860”
“What?” Kent pulled out his bandana again, wiped his brow but didn’t bother with his nose, “I thought the basic truck sold for around $30,000?”
The salesman replied, “Well we added considerable extras to the basic model, 4×4, automatic transmission, air-conditioning, 3/4 ton suspension, heavy-duty breaks and cooling, extra-large mirrors, toolbox, heavy duty towing package, and floor mats.”
Well, Kent was not at all happy. He felt that he had been mislead, but he had already invested a day, really liked the truck, and wanted to please his wife, so he bought it.
About a year later, after Biden had swindled his way into office and the price of gas, ranching, and food had skyrocketed, the salesman called Kent up to see how he liked his truck, and then asked if he had any cows for sale?
Kent pulled his MAGA cap off, wiped his brow and got a twinkle in his eye. It was payback time. He replied, “Sure I have some cows for sale. Come take a look at them later this week.”
The salesman really enjoyed riding through the pasture with Kent in his nice truck looking at various cows. He was as tickled as he had finally saved up enough to live out his childhood dream of being a real cowboy. He told Kent, “I’ll take 10 of them!”
Kent, had noticed the car dealer was wearing a blue “Build Back Better” cap and figured this city slicker was a Democrat. He looked the liberal in the eye and said,”Ok that will be $44,860!”
The salesman said, “What? I thought that cows sold for $1,000?”
Kent replied, “That was for the basic model, these cows come with considerable extras!” And he handed the salesman the following sheet that he had his sweet wife made up the night before on their home computer:
Basic Cow with Options
🔹Basic cow $999
🔹Shipping and handling $85
🔹Self-propelled, auto-steer forage finder $969
🔹Extra-large capacity stomach $379
🔹Genuine cowhide upholstery $179
🔹Two tone exterior $142
🔹Heavy duty forage choppers $189
🔹Four spigot/high-output milk system $159
🔹Automatic fly-swatter $88
🔹Automatic fertilizer attachment $139
🔹4 x 4 traction drive assembly $884
🔹Ranch brand leather-work $69
🔹Rancher’s Suggested List Price $4,286
🔹Ownership Transfer fee: $200
Total Price: (Including options)$4,486
“For ten basic cows,” Kent smiles. “That adds up to $44,860.”
It is wise for Americans to turn off mainstream media and not pay attention to the propaganda they will be churning out in regards to the FBI raid on President Donald Trump’s Florida home.
The best estimates (based on plummeted media ratings, the disgraceful Spygate operation, the January 6 Insurrection hoax, true voting tabulations, etc.) are that at least 72 percent of citizens no longer trust all three branches of federal government, the media and especially the Deep State three-letter departments (DOJ, FBI, CIA, CDC, FDA, EPA…).
Monday’s FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate is unprecedented and similar to previous attempts to cancel his power, patriotism, election victory and their disrespect for the U.S. Constitution.
Specifically, the New World Order, World Economic Forum and Deep State puppets are afraid of him. It is imperative–the writing is on the wall–Trump would likely win if he elects to run for president again in 2024.
1. They need to know what proof he has against them.
2. They need to understand his plans against them.
3. Similar to their made up dossier and past false accusations, they need to create more “evidence” to protect themselves and get him out.
Nevermind the free passes for the Clinton and Biden Crime Families, the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile client list and Ukraine/China money laundering kickbacks, they need to produce more false flags, media narratives and fabricated evidence to shut Trump down.
Under the guise of looking for “classified documents,” most Americans, at this point, would not believe any so called evidence the DOJ would use against Trump due to their corrupt past.
Millions more Americans now recognize the pattern, their predictable “Mode of Operation.”
Rather than go over the long history of illegal espionage, failed attempts to get him out of office and details of the coup activities against Trump and the American people, here are some relevant highlights to consider:
🔹Trump is the only potential candidate known to not be influenced by the Deep State. There are likely others, but then again we bought in to Romney, McCain, Crenshaw and even Pence. We are far more cautious and educated now.
🔹The Biden Regime dubiously claimed it had no advance knowledge of the raid, which has overwhelmingly been characterized by Republicans as politically motivated. Who believes the Barack Obama-Susan Rice-George Soros led White House anymore?
🔹The far-left judge who signed the warrant to raid Trump’s home was none other than Bruce Reinhart.
According to the Miami Herald, Reinhart began representing Jeffrey Epstein’s employees on January 2nd, 2008, just one day after departing the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he served as an assistant U.S. attorney closely involved on the convicted pedophile’s case.
Accused of leveraging “inside information about Epstein’s investigation to curry favor with Epstein,” in 2011, he was named as a prosecutor who allegedly violated the rights of an underage girl whom Epstein solicited sex from in the Crime Victims’ Rights Act lawsuit.
Reinhart appears to have exploited his role in the U.S. Attorney’s Office to launch a private criminal defense practice, according to the Miami Herald:
“On Oct 23, 2007, as federal prosecutors in South Florida were in the midst of tense negotiations to finalize a plea deal with accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, a senior prosecutor in their office was quietly laying out plans to leave the U.S. attorney’s office after 11 years. “On that date, as emails were flying between Epstein’s lawyers and federal prosecutors, Bruce E. Reinhart, now a federal magistrate, opened a limited liability company in Florida that established what would become his new criminal defense practice.”
Reinhart insisted that he never represented Epstein himself — “only Epstein’s pilots; his scheduler, Sarah Kellen; and Nadia Marcinkova, described by some victims as Epstein’s sex slave.”
🔹Trump filed a federal RICO suit in Miami, Florida Thursday, March 24, 2022 against none other than Hillary Rodham Clinton and her cohorts over the Russia collusion hoax orchestrated by the Clinton campaign in 2016 to undermine Trump’s candidacy and derail his presidency.
🔹Trump is seeking treble damages of expenses and losses of more than $24 million.
🔹The Defendants are Hillary R. Clinton, HFACC, Inc., the Democratic National Committee, DNC Services Corporation, Perkins Coie, LLC, Michael Sussmann, Marc Elias, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Charles Halliday Dolan, Jr., Jake Sullivan, John Podesta, Robert E. Mook, Phillipe Reines,
Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, Peter Fritsch, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, Orbis Business Intelligence, Ltd., Christopher Steele, Igor Danchenko, Neustar, Inc., Rodney Joffe,
James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Kevin Clinesmith, Andrew McCabe, “John Does 1 through 10 (said names being fictious and unknown persons), and ABC Corporations 1 through 10 (said names being fictitious and unknown entities) and alleges as follows:”
“In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy. Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.”
“The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme—falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly-sensitive data sources – are so outrageous, subversive and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison.
“Under the guise of ‘opposition research,’ ‘data analytics,’ and other political stratagems, the Defendants nefariously sought to sway the public’s trust. They worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump. Indeed, their far-reaching conspiracy was designed to cripple Trump’s bid for presidency by fabricating a scandal that would be used to trigger an unfounded federal investigation and ignite a media frenzy.”
“To start, the Clinton Campaign and the DNC enlisted the assistance of their shared counsel, Perkins Coie, a law firm with deep Democrat ties, in the hopes of obscuring their actions under the veil of attorney-client privilege.”
“Perkins Coie was tasked with spearheading the scheme to find—or fabricate—proof of a sinister link between Donald J. Trump and Russia.”
To do so, Perkins Coie launched parallel operations:
–on one front, Perkins Coie partner Marc Elias led an effort to produce spurious ‘opposition research’ claiming to reveal illicit ties between the Trump Campaign and Russian operatives;
–on a separate front, Perkins Coie partner Michael Sussmann headed a campaign to develop misleading evidence of a bogus ‘back channel’ connection between e-mail servers at Trump Tower and a Russian-owned bank.
Marc Elias, in his mission to obtain derogatory anti-Trump ‘opposition research,’ commissioned Fusion GPS, an investigative firm, and its co-founders, Peter Fritsch and Glenn Simpson, and directed them to dredge up evidence—actual or otherwise—of collusion between Trump and Russia.
Fritsch and Simpson, in turn, enlisted the assistance of Orbis Ltd. and its owner, Christopher Steele, to produce a series of reports purporting to contain proof of the supposed collusion.
Of course, the now fully debunked collection of reports, known as the “Steele Dossier,” was riddled with misstatements, misrepresentations and, most of all, flat out lies.
In truth, the Steele Dossier was largely based upon information provided to Steele by his primary sub-source, Igor Danchenko, who was subsequently indicted for falsifying his claims.
Even more damning, Danchenko had close ties to senior Clinton Campaign official, Charles Halliday Dolan, Jr., who knowingly provided false information to Danchenko, who relayed it to Steele, who reported it in the Steele Dossier and eagerly fed the deceptions to both the media and the FBI. This duplicitous arrangement existed for a singular self-serving purpose – to discredit Donald J. Trump and his campaign.
At the same time, Michael Sussmann, in his hunt for damaging intel against the Trump Campaign, turned to Neustar, Inc., an information technology company, and one of its top executives, Rodney Joffe, a fervent anti-Trumper who had recently been promised a high ranking position with the Clinton Administration, to exploit their access to non-public data in search of a secret “back channel” connection between Trump Tower and Alfa Bank.
When it was discovered that no such channel existed, the Defendants resorted to truly subversive measures – hacking servers at Trump Tower, Trump’s private apartment, and, most alarmingly, the White House.
This ill-gotten data was then manipulated to create a misleading “inference” and submitted to law enforcement in an effort to falsely implicate Donald J. Trump and his campaign.
All of these acts were carried out in coordination with the Clinton Campaign and the DNC, at the behest of certain Democratic “VIPs.”
While their multi-pronged attack was underway, the Defendants seized on the opportunity to publicly malign Donald J. Trump by instigating a full-blown media frenzy.
Some of our regular readers know, my father, Walter “Corky” Dennis was a policeman, homicide detective for the San Antonio Police Department for decades.
He was in the motorcycle detail that traveled beside John F. Kennedy’s limousine in the Alamo City motorcade the day before the President’s assassination in Dallas on November 22, 1963. After SAPD retirement, he was employed as a U.S. Marshal and worked on the Federal Judge John H. Wood, Jr. assassination case in 1979 and early 1980s.
One proud moment was when we found out he and I made it in the world famous Ripley’s Believe It or Not cartoon together.

Throughout history, several first ladies – notably, Rachel Jackson, Mary Todd Lincoln, Edith Wilson, Eleanor Roosevelt and Nancy Reagan – were attacked or criticized on personal or political grounds, sometimes viciously so by newspapers, developed media, and their husbands’ political foes.
Mainstream media continues to be shamefully biased, fake and unprofessional–especially when it comes to the beautiful Melania Trump.
Why did Vogue not want Mrs. Trump on the cover of their magazine while she was our First Lady?
It was a dirty game of disrespect and media politics.
🔹Five months into Joe Biden’s White House residency, Jill Biden appeared on the cover.
🔹Former First Lady Michelle Obama was on the cover three times.
🔹Hilary Clinton was on the cover during her time as the first lady.
🔹Vice President Kamala Harris was on the cover before even being sworn in.
Unlike Melania Trump, none of these ladies had modeled before.
During Donald J. Trump’s presidency, the White House itself proudly listed the first lady’s previous credits, noting: “She has graced the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, British GQ, Ocean Drive, Avenue, In Style, and New York Magazine. Her major layouts include the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Allure, Vogue, Self, Glamour, Vanity Fair, and Elle.”
It was obvious before President Trump’s spectacular inauguration, mainstream media would be vicious, shameful and disrespectful. When asked about their double standard, especially with Melania having a background in business and fashion, she responded:
“They’re biased and they have likes and dislikes, and it’s so obvious. And I think American people and everyone sees it. It was their decision, and I have much more important things to do — and I did in the White House — than being on the cover of Vogue.”
The contemptible media, including liberal fashion publications, showed their bias by pulling out all the stops for Michelle Obamawhen she served as first lady from 2009 to 2017.
During her husband’s eight-year presidency, Michelle appeared on at least 30 U.S. magazine covers, three of which were Vogue. She also appeared twice on the covers of Essence magazine, Time magazine, More magazine and Glamour magazine. Other covers included Redbook, InStyle, and Radar,
During her tenure as first lady, Melania only graced one magazine cover — Vanity Fair Mexico — just in her first month at the White House in February 2017
“If the Trumps were Democrats, Melania would be on every cover of every chic women’s magazine in the world every month,” notable actor James Woods tweeted (and subsequently retweeted over 20,000 times by those who agree with him).
Woods was one of a handful of celebrities to defend the first lady as it was standard practice for media pundits, editors and commentators to belittle, criticize, or undermine Mrs. Trump.
Compared to their glowing coverage of Michelle Obama (and continuing to today), the press were like wicked stepsisters treating Melania like a torn and downtrodden Cinderella.
It is ironic, since Mrs. Trump is a mother, businesswoman and former high fashion model who has been nothing but poised and gracious on the global stage as our First Lady.
Even NBC News’ own media analyst Claire Atkinson, during Trump’s tenure said that there was “a clear reluctance among editors to put themselves in the cross-hairs of the culture wars” by featuring Melania— despite her stature as a versatile and engaged public figure who speaks five languages and has consistently higher favorability ratings than any previous First Lady (except for Jackie Kennedy).
Melania spent considerable time visiting service members, children’s hospitals, immigration facilities, newborn intensive care units, and drug abuse treatment centers.
🔹She participated in Toys for Tots drives.
🔹She accompanied her husband in welcoming many foreign heads of state to the White House.
🔹She visited hurricane devastated areas along with the President, and supported recovery efforts there.
🔹She attended state funerals.
🔹She comforted the families of mass shooting events, and thanked in person our first responders.
🔹She was the principle mover behind an effort to get young people to be more civil to each other, especially online, where incivility and bullying is rampant.
Basically mainstream media coverage of her efforts were ignored, or they focused on humiliation and trivial matters. They criticize her clothes, her shoes, sometimes even her accent. Rather than commend her for trying to get children to be more civil to each other online, they were relentless to criticize her along the way.
In September 2008, I attended the first ever performance of magician Criss Angel at his new residency show–Criss Angel BeLIEve–at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Our tickets were complementary (I was writing a review for AXS Entertainment’s blog which featured such reporting at the time), and our seats were center, on the back row of the front section.
I felt a bit sorry for the magician, because despite his good intentions for a “new” type of theater experience, there were several mishaps in queuing, lighting, music and even props.
Early in the production, Angel, trapped in a white straitjacket and spinning, suddenly disappeared as the theater went totally dark.
Music and sound effects stirred a puzzled and startling response of gasps in the audience. Spotlights suddenly appeared, shining on a point right above our heads.
Criss Angel was dropped out of the ceiling hanging by his bound ankles, struggling to escape the tightly strapped straitjacket. Just as he was a mere six feet over our heads, more overhead house lights were turned on to the delight of everyone while he “escaped” the confines of the jacket.
As everyone applauded, still hanging upside down, Angel was slowly lowered to a blonde lady right next to me. She stood up and he embraced her.
They kissed. We clapped.
As they reeled him back up through the trapped door in the ceiling, I leaned over and said to the woman, “Wow, how did you get so lucky to get that seat? I’m glad it wasn’t me seated there.”
“Oh, it is he that is the lucky one,” she replied.
After he returned back to the stage he took a moment to thank us for attending that night’s performance and being patient with the “mixups” of a new show and early jitters of the crew.
“I would also like to acknowledge and thank my girlfriend who you just saw me kiss while I was hanging upside down like Spiderman,” he pointed back to the blonde sitting on my left. “Miss Amber Heard, ladies and gentlemen.”
To this day, I don’t know if Heard was his actual girlfriend, because we thought he was dating Holly Madison at the time. But it’s Vegas. Who knows? What happens there is not the same as in Hollywood!
BACK TO THE FUTURE
Jump to 2022. I happily quit watching television—especially the news—years ago and have not been too much engaged with the entertainment world since.
Having a nice breakfast conversation at the ‘Table of Knowledge’ in one of my favorite Texas Hill Country restaurants one morning, a veteran police officer, the now retired Jim Harvey, mentioned he wanted to get home in time to watch the continuing saga of the Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard Trial.
He briefed the diners and morning coffee drinkers about the latest drama of the televised proceedings. It was intriguing, but I elected to wait until after it was basically over to watch some video of the court antics.
All I knew about Heard was that I sat next to her for 90 minutes at the Criss Angel show while the magician was on record as dating Holly Madison in those days. The only other thing I was familar about Heard was that she was born and raised in “The San Francisco of Texas,” the Keep it Weird city of Austin. This explained, for me at least, some of her antics I witnessed on the video clips of the trial.
Following her loss in court, this was Heard’s official released statement:
Based on what I saw and heard, here are a few things to think about regarding her statement:
🔹The ‘mountain of evidence’ she presented was actually what helped her lose. She very clearly lied about several things and refused to take responsibility for any of the wrong she had done.
🔹This verdict could have set back the clock for women at least as much as the Hollywood starlets who participated in the #MeToo movement one moment, then followed by publically attacking Jeffrey Epstein accusers the next. Heard lying about abuse and trying to profit from it may have implications for years to come. People will find it harder to take someone at their word without thinking back to this trial. Will they wonder if the person is being truthful or making it up to hurt someone that they are mad at?
🔹Her and her attorneys trying to make this out to be a freedom of speech case is pathetic. Nobody took away her rights. The 1st amendment isn’t there for people to use it to lie and try to ruin people with false accusations. That’s why there are laws against that sort of thing.
🔹What is the value of early attention to child training? It’s in the Bible, Proverbs 22:6, NIV.
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
🔹What does God expect from parents as they raise children? Parents must be godly examples in words and actions. It’s in the Bible, Deuteronomy 6:6-7, NIV
“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
🔹God expects parents to be patient. It’s in the Bible, Colossians 3:21, TLB.
“Fathers, don’t scold your children so much that they become discouraged and quit trying.”
🔹What does God expect of a mother? It’s in the Bible, Proverbs 31:26, TLB.
“When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule for everything she says.”
🔹Discipline is an expression of parental love. It’s in the Bible, Proverbs 13:24, TLB.
“If you refuse to discipline your son, it proves you don’t love him; for if you love him, you will be prompt to punish him.”
🔹Kind, firm correction helps children learn. It’s in the Bible, Proverbs 29:15, TLB.
“Scolding and spanking a child helps him to learn. Left to himself, he brings shame to his mother.”
🔹The purpose of discipline is to help the children mature, not to anger them. It’s in the Bible, Ephesians 6:4, TLB.
“And now a word to you parents. Don’t keep on scolding and nagging your children, making them angry and resentful. Rather, bring them up with the loving discipline the Lord Himself approves, with suggestions and godly advice.”
🔹Children often bear the consequences of their parents’ sins. It’s in the Bible, Exodus 34:7, TLB.
“I, Jehovah, show this steadfast love to many thousands by forgiving their sins; or else I refuse to clear the guilty, and require that a father’s sins be punished in the sons and grandsons, and even later generations.”
🔹What response does God expect from children? It’s in the Bible, Ephesians 6:1, NIV
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
Texas and Arizona have transported almost 10,000 illegal aliens from the US-Mexico border to Washington, D.C. on at least 104 buses so far.
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) refused President Trump’s request and offers to provide troops in Washington for the January 6, 2021 peaceful protest, is now begging for the D.C. National Guard to be activated indefinitely to assist with the issue she calls a “growing humanitarian crisis.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the buses are being sent to the nation’s capital to call attention to the immigration crisis at the southern border.
Abbott has invited Bowser and New York City Mayor Eric Adams to visit the border:
“As Governor, I invite you to visit our border region to see firsthand the dire situation that only grows more urgent with each passing day, and to meet with the local officials, who like yourselves, realize this matter deserves immediate federal action.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott
Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Texas National Guard are continuing to work together to secure the border, stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas, and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between ports of entry.
🔹Since the launch of Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to more than 294,000 migrant apprehensions and more than 19,000 criminal arrests, with more than 16,000 felony charges reported.
🔹In the fight against fentanyl, Texas DPS has seized over 326 million lethal doses throughout the state.
🔹Texas has also transported over 6,700 migrants to the nation’s capital–and now New York City–since beginning the busing mission in April to provide much-needed relief to their overwhelmed border communities.
“Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps left by the Biden Administration’s refusal to secure the border,” a release from Abbott’s office stated. “Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Biden’s open border policies.”
“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” said Governor Abbott. “I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.”
“These people are wanting to go somewhere else. They’re not wanting to stay in Arizona,” said Morgan Carr, spokeswoman for Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ). “From what we’re seeing, they’re all primarily [headed to] the East Coast.”
Twenty-five percent of the illegal aliens who crossed the border into Arizona before hopping on a bus to Washington, D.C. said their final destination is New York. Other popular destinations include New Jersey and Florida.
Nearly 70 percent of the illegal immigrants who started their journey in Arizona were originally from Colombia. Another 15 percent were from Peru and eight illegal immigrants were from Russia.
“If Biden will not come to the border, we’re sending the border to Biden and his administration so that they can begin to grapple with the challenges that we’re dealing with,” Abbott said, adding, “But also, we will be looking for other locations like Delaware, Biden’s home state…The people in Delaware are going to see what the people in Texas are having to grapple with.”
“As soon as they have to deal with the real consequences of the crisis, they are up in arms calling for the National Guard when they are only dealing with a faction of what we have to deal with every single day. We’re going to keep sending those buses up there until they fully understand, and most importantly, until the Biden Administration does its job to enforce the laws concerning the border.”
DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez said that the communities along the border are completely overwhelmed with the relentless surge of illegal immigrants. He explained how Governor Abbott listened to the concerns of local officials with the migrant busing mission.
“I think it’s a great idea what Governor Abbott has done with inviting these mayors to Texas to see firsthand what we’re dealing with every day,” said Lt. Olivarez. “Some of these border communities have a population of 15,000 or 20,000 and they’re seeing 2,000 to 3,000 immigrants who are crossing every single day.”
A two-megawatt windmill is made up of 260 tons of steel that required 300 tons of iron ore and 170 tons of coking coal, all mined, transported and produced by hydrocarbons.
It holds 700 gallons of oil and hydraulic fluid, and just as a car, these need to be replaced every 9 months.
People might fall for the idea that we can merrily run on sunshine and breezes alone, but with a few trillion dollars worth of mythical mega-batteries providing backup for a few minutes, it could spin until it falls apart over and over again and never generate as much energy as was invested in building it.
In fact installing the foundation of a single offshore turbine can consume 18,857 barrels of marine fuel during construction, according to calculations published by Forbes.
Offshore wind farms often have over 100 wind turbines, meaning that building them requires almost 2 million barrels of fuel just to power the ships involved in construction.
“You can’t even construct or operate offshore wind turbines without oil,” Chris Warren, a spokesman for the free-market Institute for Energy Research, explains. “For decades, we have been told that wind, solar, and other so-called ‘green’ sources are the future, and yet these sources remain expensive, intermittent, and unreliable despite government mandates and subsidies. Offshore wind in particular remains one of the most expensive sources of electricity that exists.”
Consider the life cycle of a wind turbine:
🔹giant diesel powered mining trucks and machines dig deep into the earth for iron ore
🔹fossil-fueled ships take the ore to a facility that will use fossil fuels to crush it and permeate it with petro-chemicals to extract the metal from the ore
🔹This metal will be taken in a diesel truck or locomotive to a smelter which runs exclusively on fossil fuels 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the 12 to 20 years they may last
🔹There are over 8,000 parts to a wind turbine which are delivered over global supply chains via petroleum-fueled ships, rail, air, and trucks to the assembly factory.
🔹There are 435 million miles of asphalted roads in the world. Wind turbines and solar panels and their raw materials depend on these roads, and the energy to build and maintain them. Roads are how the diesel cement trucks arrive at the wind turbine site to pour many tons of concrete while other diesel trucks carry segments of the wind turbine to the site and workers arrive in gas or diesel vehicles to assemble it.
Here are more considerations not usually revealed in corporate media, Big Energy, Big Environment and the Biden White House:
🔹Windmills require petroleum every single step of their life cycle. If they can’t replicate themselves using wind turbine generated electricity, they are not sustainable
🔹Not enough dispatchable power, such as natural gas or hydropower, to balance wind intermittency and unreliability.
🔹Wind blows seasonally, so for much of the year there isn’t adequate wind.
🔹The role of an electrical grid is to keep the supply of power steady and predictable. Wind does the opposite, at some point of penetration, it may become impossible to keep the grid from crashing.
🔹Windmills can’t be built without huge subsidies and tax breaks.
🔹The best wind is too high to capture.
🔹Wide-scale US wind power could cause significant global warming. A Harvard study raises questions about just how much wind should be part of a climate solution.
🔹Wind is only strong enough to justify windmills in a few limited regions.
🔹Wind blows the strongest when customer demand is generally the weakest.
🔹Wind Power surges harm industrial customers.
🔹Windmills take up too much space
🔹Wind turbines break down too often.
🔹Large-scale wind energy slows down winds and reduces turbine efficiencies.
🔹Offshore windmills battered by waves, wind, ice, corrosion, are a true hazard to ships and ecosystems.
🔹Offshore wind farms are susceptible to hurricane destruction.
🔹The costs of lightning damage are extremely high.
🔹Turbines increase the cost of farming.
🔹Wind turbines are already going out of business and fewer are being built in Europe
🔹Germany has been spending more for much longer than other nations, and Energiewiende is a huge failure
🔹The quality of wind resources is location specific, with the best locations often found far from the load center where the transmission grid already exists.
🔹Dead bugs, birds and salt reduce wind power generation by 20 to 30%.
🔹Wind turbines are so much more expensive to decommission than construct, they are so often not even recycled. Here is one of hundreds of graveyards:
🔹Decommissioning wind turbines costs as much as $500,000 per wind turbine
🔹Transmission lines need to be much longer than for traditional plants, and are likely to spark firestorms causing billions in damage.
🔹Wind turbines threaten biodiversity in hundreds of protected, key biodiverse and wilderness areas
🔹Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs are extremely high.
🔹Increasingly high insurance costs from hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, defective equipment, untrained personnel and more.
🔹Blades need to be de-iced with helicopters in the winter.
🔹When oil prices rise, the cost of building and maintaining wind turbines rises.
As a licensed private investigator in Texas many moons ago, I studied Graphology and examined documents for various crime cases and court proceedings. Today, I retain an interest in this forensic activity and it’s a fun hobby and exercise at parties and get togethers with friends.
Recently I learned of a five year study performed by researchers evaluating many examiners, most of them government employees, where they undertook 100 handwriting comparisons using digital images of such writing produced by 230 people.
Of the 100 tasks:
🔹44 were comparison of documents handwritten by the same person
🔹56 were comparison of documents written by two individuals.
🔹Unknown to the participants, a tenth of the comparison sets were repeats of sets they had already seen—a way to test how consistent each participant was over time.
The FBI’s Laboratory Division, in conjunction with Noblis, Inc., recently published their scientific research paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences about the accuracy and reliability of forensic handwriting comparison.
The paper, “Accuracy and Reliability of Forensic Handwriting Comparisons,” summarizes the results of the five-year project.
The FBI Laboratory undertook this research to provide estimates of error rates—how often document examiners make correct writership decisions—as well as how often an examiner reaches the same conclusion when seeing the same documents again, and how often other examiners reach the same conclusions.
This study was the largest of its kind, involving examiners from U.S. and international crime laboratories and private practice. Collectively, these examiners made more than 7,000 document comparisons and provided information with which to correlate results to levels of education and experience, along with other metadata.
Examiners in the FBI study expressed their conclusions in the form of five ratings: definitive that the same writer had or had not written the compared samples, probable that the same writer had or had not written them, or no conclusion.
Features of interest included letter spacing, how letters connect, and the drop or rise of “legs” below or above a letter, such as the tail of a small letter “g” or the upsweep of a small letter “d.”
Overall, in 3.1 percent of cases, examiners incorrectly concluded that the same writer had composed the comparison samples. Different writers who were twins tripped the examiners up more often, leading to a false-positive rate of 8.7 percent. The false-negative rate of samples that were incorrectly attributed to two different writers was even lower, at 1.1 percent.
The study is part of a portfolio of research projects conducted by the FBI Laboratory to evaluate the accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility of pattern evidence examiner decisions.
It was modeled after a highly acclaimed 2011 FBI Laboratory study about the accuracy and reliability of fingerprint examiner decisions, which is widely regarded within the forensic community as a gold standard in pattern evidence study design. That research project formed the basic design for this study and resulted in more than 15 scientific publications to date.
A Mexican national has been sentenced for an attempted prison escape in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Brit Featherston yesterday.
🔹Juan Fidencio Romo-De La Rosa, 39, of Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, pleaded guilty on Dec. 28, 2021, to escape from federal custody and was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Thad Heartfield on July 27, 2022.
🔹The 27-month sentence was ordered to be served following an eight-year sentence De La Rosa was already serving at the time of the attempted escape.
🔹He was previously convicted of transporting illegal aliens for financial gain and being a felon in possession of a firearm in 2019 in the Western District of Texas.
🔹On Oct. 7, 2020, officers at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI)-Beaumont-Medium were alerted to an active fence alarm. Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) officers found an injured and bloodied inmate, identified as De La Rosa.
🔹While climbing the outer perimeter razor wire fence he was cut up in the razor wire. He had already cleared an interior fence during his attempted escape. Upon being caught, De La Rosa surrendered to the guards at gun point without incident.
“Rest assured that those who threaten the safety and security of other inmates, staff, and the surrounding community, by escaping and attempting to escape from federal prison will be caught and will surely not escape justice either,” said U.S. Attorney Brit Featherston. “Their reward instead, will be additional time in federal prison tacked on to their current sentence.”
This case was investigated by the FBI and Federal Bureau of Prisons and prosecuted by Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicole Stratso.
